4th Gen When migrating pokemon do they keep items?

    Well remember that old cloning trick in Emerald I'm thinking if I could migrate pokemon over to Diamond they would still hold the items they were given right? does the cloning method include the pokemons item?
     
    Yes they do, i believe it is required to get certain items. However you migrate a poke is how it comes out the other end.
     
    I had to look this up so heres the answer.
    When you migrate a Pokémon from one of the GBA games, you will still have the same items and statistics as from the GBA game.
