When Worlds Collide! (Remake)

It was only a bloody matter of seconds before theonly thing left around was blood, and i sat back looking like a contented house cat, licking the blood off my mussle.

"enjoy yourself?" I asked, partially joking, but I wasn't put off by the gore at all, I had seenmuch worse at my family reunions...

After a few moments, I said "I've been thinking about what you've told me, and it seems that you ar- were, at least very talented with magic, if not a full mage, but your memories of how to control it were lost." I said, an idea beginning to take shape in my mind.

"Okay..." I mumbled as I entered the room, closing the door tightly shut afterwards. The room was very big, that was for sure. Now the hard part, changing in this body.
It was very disturbing, but I finally finished 15 minutes later, and exited the room, now in the robes, which I had made sure to tighten.
"Shall we go then?"

<that much is obvious.> I said with a sigh, wishing that I could remember. All this talk about my loss of memory was depressing me, very quickly.

"I suppose we shall" I replied with a rare smile, beginning the climb to yet another level, this one, another library with a collection of magical amulets and bracelets across the hall. I explained as much on the climb, and had to apologize for the mess my notes were in. I explained "I'm trying to document all of those artifacts across the hall." Shuffling the papers, I came across a piece that I was particularly proud of, a bracelet given to me by a vampire. I'd have to warn him about that one, it could do funny things to the brain. I finished stacking the parchment and glanced out the window briefly, taking note of the rapidly setting sun. I clapped my hands, saying "Bedtime. You'll want to get to sleep soon, we start at the break of dawn."

"I'll try to sleep, but I don't know if I'll be able to after todays events." I said as I rubbed my eyes, letting out a faint yawn. "Would you mind accompanying me to my room? I'm afraid the chances of me getting lost are pretty high, and I wouldn't want to end up somewhere I shouldn't be."

"A sound idea" I agreed, heading back for the staircase and downwards, adding "And do try to get some rest, the life of a mage-attend is a hard one. You need what rest you can get."

"I doubt it'd help much, but it'd help as far as defending myself is conserned." I said, standing perfectly still, and dissapearing again. I repetivly did that a few times, before tiering again.

"Well, I don't think you have anything to lose." I said, and thinking about how I'd do this. I never had to teach anyone before, and it might be difficult... But I quickly decided that if it could help cirrus, it would be worth it.

I glansed over the water, and suddenly, another flashback came to mind. "Finally, I've found you!" a deep, harsh voice said. I moved away from the sound, but I felt msyelf become imprisioned withen the mind of my own dragon guide. "Air will never be able to undo what I have done." My capturer said with a smirk, and suddenly, a burst of fire struck the area, and I knew. Fire was the one that had captured me.

I immediatly snapped out of it, but something felt.. diffrent. <Fire will be here soon. He knows I've been awakened.> I said, my tail lashing. <and I'd like to see him trap me in a human's mind this time.>

<apparently, if my visions are correct, the last time I woke up, Fire trapped me in a human's mind before my abilities matured enough. Now that I've got a few of my powers back, I'd like to see him contian me this time.> I said with a growl, my tail slamming into the ground.

"Let me guess, this fire person is another mage?" I asked, my eyes lighting up with an unholy glow that had been in the family for generations. "Sounds like he could use a bit of punishment, would you mind if I helped?" I asked, my voice calm, despite the energy that literally radiated from me.

<sadly, to be honest, I don't think you would be able to stand up to him.> i said, then I glansed around. <but judging by my sences, he hasn't come yet.> memories were flooding in now, but not a one mentioned who I really was..

"Maybe not alone, but there are a few... Ah, 'heirlooms' at my mountain which I could use, but this isn't the time. I take it your memories are back now?" I asked, trying to bring my thoughts away from their current violence.

<most of them. Including an interesting one. But we should get back to your mountain. If anybody's listening in..> I trailed off, giving another mental call, that Smaug wouldn't hear, that was designed to travel across time.

"Right, let's go." I said, sprreading my wings, and lifted off easily in this lighter form, and began heading across the landscape to my mountain, my thoughts filled about the current chain of events. I was an illusionist, not a combat magician, but I should be able to help her, as long as I wasn't disctracted by my hobby...
