When Worlds Collide! (Remake)

"Okay..." I replied. I felt better now that I understood what he was talking about. "I hope you don't need me to know what I'm capable of however, since I have no clue what I can do at all like this. The secrets of this form are currently hidden from me."
I brushed my bangs out of my face and thought to myself, Why did I have to be put in such uncomfortable, and there is even clothing hidden under the clothing? WHat are people like around here?

I followed him, careful not to step on his tail, and when I felt the fresh air, i immediatly took off, managing to gain altitude faster than Smaug was without much effort.

I grinned when I realized she had managed to outrun me, and almost without thinking, altered my form enough, I was still the same shape, but much smaller, and a glossy, dark green. I managed to catch up to Cirrus as far as altitude went, though it took a lot of effort, even in this form. Once I had reached her, I said "I've seen that you have at least some magic power, and I couldn't help but wonder, is there any reason you haven't used it yet?"

"I don't need to know any such, all that the magecraft requires is a willingness to learn. Allow me to show you around." I got up, and after pouring myself another small glass of wine, exited the library.

<to be honest, I don't know.> I said, heading to a nearby (from the air at least) ocean. I flew at a high speed just above the waves, and a mental call brought dolphins to the surface, as they did thier best to keep either with or in front of me. After a bit, I gained altitude again, not caring if smaug was near or not.

I was doing my best to keep up, even though this form was a fast flyer, I was still having trtouble. "What... do you mean, you don't know?" I huffed, trying to ask without slowing down.

<just what i said. Whatever powers i may have had are gone.> I said, before looking down, and noticing some humans below, watched until I realised what they were. <dragon slayers!> I shouted, but it was too late. One of them had already fired what was very much like an arrow, but designed to peirce and tear my wing. It looked like it had hit home when I literally dissapeared, and appreared again after it had gone past where my wing was.

After I saw that cirrus was okay, I immidiately dived, intending not to douse them with fire, but cast an entrancing spell when I was close enough that would put them all into a stupor, allowing me to deal with them at my liesure.

"I'll find you a set of robes" I said offhandedly, adding "We just left oine of the libraries, obviously. Across the hall is where I keep the various staves and wands I've found that I don't keep on my person." I mounted the spiral staircase to the right, beckoning to David.

I felt drained, not to mention starved, But if I wasn't eating live meat, I was a vegatarien. Inconvinencing, really. Sadly, there was little I could do about it.

The next level was devoted to one room alone, a massive summoning gircle, perfectly drawn and inlaid into the red marble floor with gold. "This" I said, sweeping my arm around the chamber, "Is the chamber I use for summoning greater deamons, Tanar'ri and the like. Follow, I think I have some robes on the next floor up." The stairs were set into the opposing wall, a walk of about fifty feet.

i neared them, and casted the spell, and they all dropped their weapons, and simply stood there, dazed. I landed, and began looking them over, no females. "Do you have any reason for these to be spared?" I asked up to cirrus, indicating the dazed humans.

"Does lunch count?" I asked, floating down to land nearby. My claws clicked aginst the ground, and I knew if it wern't for the enchantment on them, it would have triggered the most primal terror and/or devotion.

"As am I" I replied, adding "But my spellwork seems to still be in order. We'll get started tomorrow morning." Clearing the top of the stairs, I remarked "Ah! Knew it" A set of robes I'd outgrown long ago was hanging over a door. The looked to be just right for David, though. I pulled them down, and handing them to the boy in girl form, said "I'm afraid thewy'll need some laundering, but they should do until I can have you made a proper set."

"Your room. I'll show you there." In reality, the room I had in mind was intended for a second fully-qualified mage, and was thus, spacious, but my partner had died years ago in a mage-battle and the room had been unoccupied since. When I entered, I lit the half-burned candles with a wave of my hand and said "Here's where you'll stay. Make yourself at home. I'll finish the tour when you're changed."
