I said nothing, through the hatchling hopped out of Nido's claws, and floated to the ground with it's small wings, of which when it got to the ground, it slipped and fell. I chuckled, and went over to it to help it up, while the human made it's move right then. seeign that neither of the adult dragons were paying attention, he quickly yet silently managed to get to the nest, grabbing one of the eggs and bolting for the door. I heard the alarm call from the hatclign as he saw the human, and I spun around with a growl, but i was too far form the human..

I was a different matter though. My rage blinded me however, and a spell meant to kill him only stopped him in his tracks, paralized. I quickly made my way to the doorway, and closed it, before pulling the egg from his still grasp. "I'm a creature of my word..." I said, looking over to Eclipse and the the Hatchling. We'd need to name him soon...

the paralysis quickly wore off, and the human tried to run, but by then I had gotten over, and clamped my jaws on his legs, breaking them, as the hatchlign jumped form my back to the human, and I looked away form the very bloody process that followed, judging by the tourtured screams...

I didn't bother looking away, looking at how he handled the situation, and voicing my professional opinion. "He's got a talent for that." I said, before looking away form the scene to Eclipse. "What do you think of names?" I asked, though Ihad an idea already.

"Hmm, I'm not usually one for tradition, but why not name him after my grandfather?" I said, though I was mostly talking to myself. "What do you think, Smaug?" I asked the dragonet crawling on my back.

"seems like a good name to me" I said, even though he wasn't talking to me. Smaug, on the other hand, responded with a happy squeak, as he tried to climb Nido's neck and failed

"I would pay a fourtune to make a scientific study..." I whispered in awe, before curling up aginst the wall, so that Nido could have some time with the kid..

I noticed that smaug was pacing back and forth on my neck, before he climbed off lazily, walking over to to Eclipse, laying aainst her, and promptly falling asleep. Strangely, my mind chose that moment to bring up the memory of the first time I met Eclipse. "Who would have thought... I wondered to myself in awe.

Celeste sighed. "I'm very sorry to hear you say that, though I know it must be hard. My parents were very loving people, as I had no other siblings. We didn't concern ourselves with magic, my mother was an amazing Mage, but my father was hopeless. They were never sure which end of the spectrum I'd end up on. Though, they didn't have to wonder long, not after I was killed."

She stopped. "I was forced to not be able to see my parents any more. I couldn't look at them, I wasn't to guide them. The Lord knew it would be too hard for me and them. For all I know, they could be dead by now, or I could have a sister. I wouldn't even know...."

"I need some time to think about this." I said, beginning to walk deeper into the woods. " I don't want to be without their blessing, but I don't want them getting between me and you. I have to think this out." I walked off bymyself, into the woods. At length I came to a log and sat on it, my wings hanging over me in a depressed manner.

I finally woke up, though I had no idea what time it was or how long I'd been out. I slowly got to my feet, and noticed that Smaug had returned to the nest.

"just how long was I out?" I asked, noticing how disoriented I was. Smaug, seeing that Nido had a chance of beign active, promptly ran over to him, though he didn't quite make it as he tripped with a loud squeak.

"I haven't been out of the mountain, but I'd wager maybe, two... three days at te most." I said, getting up and walking over to where smaug had tripped, and picking him up gently. "So, impatient for a sibling?" I asked him, walking back over to the nest where he had been waiting at.

"and you've been guarding the nest this whole time?" I said incredously, waking over, and watchign two of the eggs, while ignoring the rest. the smell off the others had shown that they wern't going to hatch, sadly enough..

"Oh course. I've gone longer without food or sleep." I said, indicating the Dragonsbane petals, now a bright green with several holes in them. "Smaug on the other hand..." I trailed off when i reached the eggs, examining them myself.
