When worlds collide!

During one of my ascents, I noticed Eclipse, hovering some distance away. With a small communication spell I quickly muttered, I said through our minds "Sorry I left like that, but as you can see, there was a bit of an emergency."

"it's all cool. any way I can help increase the death count, or am I too late?" I responded, by now forgetting about the elf on the ground.

"Certainly, if humans do anything the same, they'll try to bring reinforcements before they realize they're in for more than they can take." I responded as I swooped low again, this time picking up another machine on four wheels that they had travelled here inside, and throwing it so that it hit another one, and they exploded!

Wihtout bothering to respond, I flew lower, focusing on a group of humans, and with a flap of my wings, used my black death attack to take them down. I personally was having a great time destroying every human I ran into, and occasionally feeding on them in order to help increase my potential power. after all, if they were going to die, I might as well make use of them.

OOC: *panting* wow....that took forever to read through! Sorry for posting so late!

IC:Tsubasa had taken flight at the first sign of danger, carrying Skye away from the fight, and towards safety in a nearby tree overlooking the nearby lake. Skye climbed off his back and onto the branch, so Tsubasa could keep balanced better. She looked at the staff Exodus had tossed to her. It puzzled her. She remembered it somehow...

She looked back towards the battle, noticing that her side was gaining the upper hand. She had to look away, however. The killing was too much for her to watch.

A while later, she spied Donovan by the lake, and Johann and one of the demons a little ways away from him. She looked back at Tsubasa, who nodded, and slid off the tree branch, landing nimbly on her feet. She walked softly over to him, watching the stones he was levitating skim the water.

"Um...hi..." she said softly, still holding the staff in her hand. She looked out at the water, a rather serene expression on her face.

Exodus walked over to talk to me, but saw his daughter holding the staff, which made him smile. "Wow she looks so much like her mother with that staff in her hand." He said sitting beside me.

I looked over, "Well, master, I wouldn't know what her mother looks like, so I'll just take your word for it." I said turning back to look the lake, no interest whatsoever, not even to talk about, the half elf.

"You'll be training her soon, Johann. So you better shape up, you never know when you'll see your comrades in peace again." Exodus scolded and then went back to the fire and sat there warming himself up.

Skye saw Exodus by the lake, and watched him leave. She looked back at Donnovan, rather apologetically, and made a polite bow to him.

"Please excuse me," she said softly, and hurried after her father. She stopped short a few feet away from him, holding the staff tightly in her hands. "What's this for?"

Her tone was simple and curious, not intending to offend him or make him angry. She stood before him, feeling intimidated somehow.

OOC: totally random, I know, but Sparks locked himself in the closet and can't get out.

IC: When I judged that I had killed enough humans to vent my fury, and that they seemed to have figured out that they were beat, I said to the dragon "I'm going to hang out with some people I met, when things are finished here you can come along" and wiht that I flew back to the lake, landing on my Lapras' back, since I hadn't recalled it.

Exodus sighed, for the first time, his eyes were competely soft and his face gentle, he then said, "It was your mothers, she said give it to you when you are ready. And I believe you are ready. It possesses all of her powers, and she stored all her memories in there, so I would never forget her. And I haven't. By the way I see you gripping it, those memories should be buzzing in your head right now, take a good look at them, they'll be the only pictures of your mother you'll see." He then turned back to the fire and got closer to it, to try to keep warm under the shade of the trees.

After I rested for a few moments, I flew to the edge of the lake, at a point where I was totally alone, and closed my eyes, allowing my mind to wander.

Skye nodded, feeling the memories whizzing through her mind. She tried to mentally grab at them, but they went by so fast...

She sat down beside Exodus, her cheeks growing warm by the fire. She didn't say anything for a long while, many of the memories she had seen were ones she could not remember.

"I'll never get to see her?" Skye asked, a little sadly. She hugged her knees and watched the flames solemnly.

I had once again taken the form of a small lizard after the humans had left, and was lying near a lake where Eclipse was, thankful that she didn't recognize me as I tried to think of where to strike next.

Exodus sighed his voice becoming heavy as a tear escaped his eye, "I *** so, my daughter. I really hope so..." He then wiped it off and said, "If our quest is successful then you'll see your mother, and we'll seperate the worlds to the way they were, the only bad part is that you'll have to choose between this world and the world I come from. But let's not worry about that, it's not time to worry about that." He then wrapped his arm around his daughters shoulder, he skin was as soft as her mothers, which comforted him alot, any reminder of his wife would comfort him.

My lapras gave a small cry, and I opened my eyes as she gave me my laptop, that I had stored with her for safe-keeping. mostly because with how much I was in battle it was in danger a lot. I turned on the laptop, and accesing a documant I was in the middle of writing, began typing, trying to catch up on my writing.

Her solemn expression still very prominent, Skye found herself leaning into her father's comfort. It wasn't as awkward as she had thought. In fact, it was comforting.

Tsubasa landed softly beside them, his long neck relaxed, his eyes soft and thoughtful. He saw that his comfort was not needed, and was contented with just sitting beside Skye, whose quiet tears were left unheard. She was longing for many things...to see her mother...to see her adopted parents, to stop all this blasted fighting, and let everything be the way it was.

But something greater than what was before had to come out of this sturggle. She knew that. With a tear streaked face, she sat beneath her father's arms, and watched the flames lick the air adventureously, and they lulled her to sleep once more, though it was only the late afternoon.

Exodus smiled as his daughter fell asleep. He was beginning to learn how to act like a father one small step at a time.

I then came to the campfire avoiding Exodus and skye,I really didn't want to be pulled into the situation between them. "I'm going hunting, I'm getting sick of troll. I'm bringing back something different." I said putting my sword on my belt.

"Ok, just don't bring back anything larger than a troll we need to be able to carry the stuff with ease." Exodus said before letting me run off into the forest to hunt something.

I had managed to type a full page when I suddenly felt the wind shift. I looked away form the screen, and noticed a large blue dog pokemon, that I recognised as Suicune. As I watched, it jumped down, and ran on the surface of the lake. it seemed that everything had fallen silent, as the beautiful creature approached me, and was virtually right in front of me. without thinking, I stroked it softly, feeling the soft fur and the powerful muscles rippling under the skin. suddenly, without warning, the large dog fled, without leaving a trace.

I had dozed into a state of semi consciousness, as I began thinking about the events of the past few days. "How did I get here? Just where is here? How do I get back? Do I even want to go back?" ...All this thinking had woken me up a bit, and I looked over at Eclipse "And just what is up with that girl? Now we're partners, yes... But just why did I go after her when she was under mind-control?" I snorted with disgust, every question I tried to answer just brough countless more, I may as well give up.
