Skye watched Celeste disappear into the forest, and decided that it would be best for her to remain. The least she could do was help the people of this village repair their damages. Tsubasa landed on the ground, and the both of them aided in construction. This was an easy task for Skye, as she never had any trouble with physical labor.
Being among elves was certainly an interesting experience. She felt so at home with them, able to speak to them freely, and feel welcomed. Her labors that day, combined with the work of the other elves, rebuilt most of the damages, and they saved the rest for the next day.
Tsubasa, who was still feeling rather wary, slept atop the inn roof once more, not really able to speak to Skye, still feeling that he had failed her in some way.
Skye was welcomed into the home of an elven family, who fed her dinner, and gave her some new clothes to take on her journey, as well as washing her dirty clothes. She talked to them, but they seemed to know much about her, including her father, which she was suprised did not arise any feelings of adversity towards them.
She returned to the inn with a full stomach and heart, and fell asleep, wondering how Celeste and Donnovan were doing...
