"Yep, Spino will be kept busy for a while too, better yet, it'll be full, no large carnivores on the island to worry about, just the raptors and compys" I said, lost in thought.

"Well, back to my original question: How do you propose we get off this island?" I asked "You said they had flying creatures as well, so what do you think the chances are they would have water dwelling ones?" I continued, wondering what spells I should have ready.

"only one swimming creature I know of that they have, and that's Spino. But I just remembered they have two spinos, a male and female." I said. "The other spinosaur lives at the river though" I finished, finally deciding I wanted to morph dinosaurs the rest of my life, as I was a palentologist and the dinosaurs I had seen were facinating, and since it counted what I saw, the dinosaurs in books were added to the morphing list as well.

"Well then, Why don't I think up a water morph real quick and we make a B-line for the coast?" I suggested, not wanting to try and find out if my "ace in the hole" would work on these creatures.

"Well then, let's forget going, because we're gone!" I said, and began running towards the coastline. I had only tried the spell I had in mind on humanlike creaturees, and I had no idea what it would do to these monsters.

"Looks like we're being followed," I said, noticing the rustling in the nearby vegetation. "If they attack, I'm going to try a spell on them, I have no idea if it will work or not, but stay out of the way, as I really don't want you getting hit by it."

seeing the blade, the raptor lowered her head and growled, but didn't attack, or back off. I was confused, normally raptors would have done something by now..

I lowered my blade slightly, still at a ready stance, but I did nothing else. There was something strange about this creature. This was not how typical pack hunters behaved, there should have been several more of them trying to rip out our throats at this point...

The raptor hissed, using it's mussle to gesture at an area behind it. I looked at where it was indicating, and noticed eggs. raptor eggs. "This is the raptor breeding grounds, that's why she's not being agressive, she's guarding the eggs" I said quietly

"Ah, well then, let's just go around." I said, backing up slightly, then walking to the side, getting clear of the area. I had no intention of coming upon any raptors in the middle of 'recreation'.

I followed, though the other raptors were back, and I knew they were getting ready to strike.. My wings shifted nervously, revealing a backpack that I hadn't had any time before I came to the island.. it was mostly to guard my back ever since I got clawed, but there was another reason..

I noticed that there were raptors still following us, and I could sense agression from then, and then I looked at Eclipse. "Good lord, you didn't..." I said, noticing the backpack, and the way that she kept shifting under it.

"Didn't what?" I asked innocently, despite the danger. I was keeping a careful eye on the raptors, as they were getting more and more tense..

"I didn't know this was a trip to eggnap, but I guess I did need the exercise." I said, unsheathing my sword and stopping dead in my tracks, setting it aflame with silver fire again, readying my ace in the hole.

OOC: Cue 'one winged angel'

I stood in place, waiting for the raptors to strike "come on, I don't have all day." I thought, and waited for them to make the first move...

OOC: In about 18 minutes I will need to go offline, when that happens please try to hold up the chain of events for me.
