When worlds collide!

Skye walked along with Tsubasa, silently, feeling more anxious by the moment. She had stopped to consider her actions, and realized that she really had no idea what she was getting herself into. She trodded further, feeling strange for the first time with her hair so short. Tsubasa nudged her from behind, and she realized she was falling behind. She rushed fowards, her hood falling onto her back.

Lost in thought once more, Skye looked over at Johann. He had risked a lot defending her, perhaps even his apprenticeship to Exodus...

"Hey...Johann," she said to him, hurrying to his side when Exodus was a little distance away. "Thanks...for saying what you did back there."
 
"Um...uh...yeah...um...anytime!" I said chuckling alittle bit, I could swear my face was red, but I didn't know, all I knew is that I felt like I was blushing, although I didn't know for sure. "Um...we better catch up with Exodus. He's getting really far in head of us." I said and then ran after Exodus until I was at his side.

"We're almost there, we just have to climb half way up that moutain." He said pointing to the moutain in the distance. And then...like everytime before this...he took off at a sprint to the base of the moutain.
 
Skye nodded. Tsubasa offered to fly her up there, but she shook her head.

"I've got to do this on my own, Tsu," she told him softly, taking off at a quick clip towards the mountain.

Tsubasa seemed shaken at this, at the least, uncomfortable. He took off, his great, white wings pulling him into the air with ease. He perched at the opening in the mountain (assuming there's an opening...?) and waited for the others to arrive, watching Skye with intent eyes, ready to help if there was trouble.
 
Exodus came to the foot of the mountain, which was more straight up then he remembered. He would have to climb it the old fashion way. Once he found his footing on the side of the moutain he called back, "I don't want your bird helping you, if you fall get back up and try again, cause if you can't do this you won't be able to survive even a few seconds of were we're heading." His voice was critical but one a caring parent would say. He made it up there easily while I had a bit more trouble but I stopped half way to make sure Cassidy was ok, cause even if Exodus didn't want anyone helping her, I would help her.
 
Tsubasa ruffled his feathers angrily at Exodus' words, but he remained at their destination. He watched Skye carefully, encouraging her along mentally, until she looked up at him snappishly and told him to cut it out. Angered, he turned his head away, and looked up into the clouds.

Skye had not meant to make him angry. She had not meant to snap, but she was going to do this on her own, and it was a little frustrating. Her light weight made it easy for her to balance on otherwise dangerous footholds, and she made it up the side of the mountain with little diffeculty. It was merely a matter of deciding which foot would go where, and from then on, as soon as she was used to it, it wasn't so bad. She joined Exodus and Johann, a faint smile on her face.

Tsubasa sighed and followed them on foot, feeling less and less needed as time went on.
 
"Sora, Psyduck, you guys better be quiet when we follow them." Crystal whispered, chuckling afterwards. "You don't know what Exodus will do if he finds out what we're about to do." She chuckled again.

Even though her Johann, Skye, and Exodus were dead serious about their situations, she couldn't help but be her naive and carefree self. She turned around and put her arm on the back of her head, grinning happily.

"When they're far from here, then we'll follow them." She explained as she continued on watching them from afar.

She wanted to tell him she'll join their journey but she assumed Exodus would think she'll just be in his way. She was still a tad weak, but sooner or later she'll unleash all her powers. She shrugged off her thoughts and focused on one thing she wanted to do. She wanted to prove herself.

Sora then flew beside her, indicating that they had already moved. Crystal picked up her Psyduck and jumped on Sora. ?Alright, go Sora.? She whispered as Sora flew high in the air-making sure no one will spot them. Sora then stopped, seeing that they were very close to them. Crystal nodded at Sora as she landed and called her in her Pokeball afterwards.

Crystal had planned out everything she?ll do and she presumed that she wouldn?t get caught. The first thing she needed to do was climb the mountain without Sora?s help, or she could easily be seen.
 
I looked over the edge to see Crystal there, waiting for some distance to follow us. I smiled happily at the sight of her and then skipped along to Exodus' side.

Exodus, once they were about a mile into the enterance said, as the light from the outside world disapeared, "your bird can't be in here, he'll be completely useless and vonerable, you have to either send him away or put him in those balls you carry at your side. He said as he's eyes began to glow as a sign that he was getting ready to use his infared sight. It would be tricky enough to get them through there with no light let alone worring about a bird.
 
Skye looked at Exodus indignantly. She may have been angry at Tsubasa, but she certainly wasn't about to send him away. Shooting the drow a dirty look, she held the pokeball to Tsubasa helplessly, and he disappeared into it.

OOC: RPer's block.......
 
"Sorry, Skye. But that bird would just get in the way. Think about it." Exodus said calmly. As he pushed a boulder from the enterance to the dark world.

Meanwhile I was completely blinded, I couldn't see a thing, and I immediatly tripped over a crack in the floor.

Exodus sighed and took a brooch from his pocket. It lit up and he handed it to me. "Use this to see your way through this place." He then took us through the enterance, and said, "Welcome to Underdark."

We took two steps and got ambushed by two mind flayers. Exodus swore out loud as he pushed SKye and me to the ground and jumped toward the ugly beast. Resisting as hard as he could to keep his mind from being controled by them. As long as SKye and I stayed down they wouldn't know we were here.

Meanwhile Exodus took out his Scimitars and shoved them into their oversized brains. He quickly helped of us up and said, "There is more of them. We need to get out of here!" He then took both of our hands and dragged us as fast as he could for as long as he could, hoping they could escape the beast.
 
ooc: Sorry I'm so late. i had yard work to do, and then I went to see the yugioh movie. It's pretty good! :D (COpying and pasting into other rps.)

ic: " Oh, waht rotten luck." I muttered as the Spinosaur rumbled closer. I charged up my hands, preparing for a fight. I could use my magic to fight the SPinosaur from a distance, which I knew would prove to be quite valuable.
 
Skye spit some dirt from her mouth, and found herself heaved up to her feet. She tripped, and regained her feet quickly, following Exodus through the darkness. Her free hand held the necklace form of her staff beneath her shirt, and she glanced at her sword warily.

"What...were those?" she gasped.
 
"Mind Flayers. They take control of anythings mind if they focus on you. I've learn to scamble their minds, so I knew I was safe but you two werent." He said.

As soon as he knew we were out of their teritory he looked around, as the lit brooch lit up the area. "Let's go." I said leading the way, even though I never been there before.

Exodus silently nodded, and followed me without hesitation.

OOC: I would think it was ok if me and cassidy sped up our quest to acouple of months cause it won't affect anyone else, and you guess don't have to go along with the speed up, it's just wondering aimlessly in pitch darkness...is...well...kind of boring.... XD
 
OOC: I have nothing IC to post, but...RM...you keep using Cassidy's name...haha! I think you used Skye's name in MaH too....
 
OOC: Rai-Rai, illithid is another word for mind flayers, right?

Seeing the group's figures disappear, Crystal released Sora and told her to fly up with Psyduck. With a reluctant nod, Sora flew with Psyduck on here back stand landed near the entrance, hoping her little sister was alright.

Crystal started climbing the mountain and got to the top shortly. She was used to climbing mountains, helping climb the mountain with ease. She met up with Sora and Psyduck, recalled them in their Pokeballs, not wanting to get them in trouble and went inside.

As she continued on walking, she noticed that it was getting darker and darker every second until she couldn't see a thing.
 
OOC: Yay! Someone knows! Yeah they're one and a same. Get on AIM, Marina, you got me excited, must talk to someone about it! XD

IC: Exodus walked back to the enterance, feeling something following them. After a few minutes He came back with a girl in his arms. "Tell your friend to be more quiet when she walks!" He said sternly and walked passed me into the darkness.

I hugged Crystal excitedly and laughed. "I didn't think you'd catch up!"

the spinosaurus dove into the water, and dissapeared under it. "It's preparing an ambush..." I said calmly, probably becasue I knew if there were any advantages to being dead I couldn't get chomped
 
"It isn't stupid. I think it's got a plan." I muttered, then looking up. "Crap. Pteranodons." I said, as the huge flying reptiles came into view. "they won't let us get to the forest, and if we got into the water to avoid them, Spino is more than ready, and it's likly to come out of the water when you're fighting the Pteranodons."
