I was startled by this motion, but didn't let go of her wings. instead,I let my own grow out to slow us down.

I backed off, and suddenly, the scene seemed to change. It seemed to be flashes of something. an old church.. burning.. people trapped inside.... I shook it off, and realized people were in trouble! <I'll be back as soon as i can!> I said in alarm, teleporting.
When I arrived at the scene that was in my vision, I had returned to my demon form, and i was in my normal attire. I saw the crowd around the blazing building, and as I had predicted, I could hear cries for help inside. Without thinking, I ran into the curch, and followed the cries until I found four children. One of them was screaming, and despite the danger, I said "It's okay. I'm going to get you out of here." and I managed to help each one out of a nearby window, leaving them safely on the ground. it was then that i realized that the roof was caving in, weakened by the flames. A peice that I could not see dislodged, and slammed me in the back, knocking me over. I managed to teleport out, to an area just outside the city that donnovan and Celeste were in. I focused desperatly on healing myself, though now I was actually considering allowing Celeste to purify me..

"You have a nack for getting yourself hurt don't you?" I said, walking up to Eclipse, and smiling. "I've got a lot more power back, would you like me to heal it?" I asked, hoping that I could help somehow.

"hey, certian things come with being a demon" I said, rather painfully. "I'll be able to heal myself though. one of the few times i actually can do anything about injuries" I said with a faint smile.

"celeste could help you with that, I think" I said, as the servered vertabre in my back started to heal. "I need to see her anyway, about something else"

"Dragon's intuition, I guess...." I said, and then turned to face Eclipse. "One thing I was wondering about, what if it changed the way you think, or your personality? I don't know just what that purification is, but are you prepared to change who you are to get it? Not that it might not be in a good way, but are you prepared for it?"

"personally, I think if anything, it'd tear my demon half from me. and my genetics would replace the missing section. as for my personality, really, I don't know if it would change. but donnovan and moonlight didn't seem to change. then again, they were the least demonic of the family" I said in a low voice. the possibility of purification had been on my mind for a while, and now the urge for it seemed to be getting almost intoxicating..

"that makes it no easier for me." I said, burying my face in my hands. to any other demon that had chosen a life outside of being satan's minion, it would have been an easy choice. But I was more worried about what the replacement for the demon half would be.

"true. but my main worry is this: what if the replacement turns me 100% vampire? an emotionless killer. at that point, you'll be forced to kill me before I suck the life out of you" I said. I was stressing out, but haivng Nido there calmed me slightly.

"You don't know how much power I have in this form, I could probably undo any change, be it holy, magic, or satanic. But still, a vampire isn't reguarded as holy, so I doubt that would be what fills the gap, if you're being purified by an angel. I'd chose dragon myself, but that's just personal pride." I said, smiling at the last part.

True, but that was more of a spiritual heritage than genetic. I will admit, you did look good as a dragon though." I said, smiling a bit more.

At that comment, I blushed slightly. sadly, on my pale skin, it showed up especially well. "who knows. after this, I could be in a dragon form, abielt a frequent morpher"
