The reason why I'm calling this a discussion is kinda because Its not all about questions and I may ask new things ect.
I feel that in the Pokécommunity since I've joined last year we barely talk about RM2K3, many games started with RM2K3 but then ported over to RMXP (Like this: h*ttp://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=260369), many of the starter kits for RM2K3 have been 'in development' and never saw a release. Others (Like this: h*ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M_1CFttTbc) Weren't even on the Pokécommunity forums and was discontinued. The problem is is that either we have these abandoned RM2K3 starter kits that promise many features and then we have others that saw a release but are only half baked.
Now if you don't mind I'm going to ask some questions...
Question 1 is; are there any alive RM2K3 starter kits that aren't half baked and are downloadable?
2: If Q1 isn't solvable is anyone planning to ask the creator of this (h*ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M_1CFttTbc) RM2K3 starter if they can add the missing features Like the Pokémart items, and fully functional PokéCenter as that's really what we need in a truly essential starter kit.
RM2K3 would be a good platform for fan games and an alternative to RMXP. If we the community would pitch in and make (or fork) a starter kit for RM2K3 I would help. It doesn't have to have all the out sourced code like Pkmn Essentials for RMXP it just needs to have the core done.
