    Hi. I am new to ROM hacking, and so, while I was busy, I took a lunch break. Then when I came back, it said ,"Unexpected file format". I looked online for solutions, and saw that an/the .rvproj2 file might be the problem. However, I can't find it. Where in Pokémon Essentials is the .rvproj2 file located, and are there any other ways I could restore my project?

    ROM hacking is editing the original games. Essentials is NOT ROM hacking.
    You should ask over on the Game Development forum.~
