^ To clear up any confusion, you install JPAN 1.1 onto a Fire Red 1.0 rom (Squirrels).
Look into the tool ModExe, which lets you install JPAN as well as loads of other optional extras.
Then there's CFRU which has a tonne of features but is much more complicated to use.
