Where'd Everything Go?

I just noticed yesterday but suddenly many default programs like Paint, WordPad etc. are gone. O_o

Any way I can get it back without using System Restore?

Hmmmm..... Reformatt HDD? :P Proabley not helpfuill but oh well, If you put the windows disk in it gives you options to install default programs not sure if paint and stuff is there but windows messenger is. Hope this helps!

I've got one problem. The CD tray is stuffed. I accidently kicked it a while ago and now it doesn't open. >_<

lol you can pick up a mega cheap cd drive if u dnt wanna use dvds/write cds :) there like 5-10 pound and i'll tell you how to connect iof u like

Are they gone from Program Files and everything or just the shortcuts?

I assume you are using Windows XP. If you hit Windows-R and type \Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\ into the Run window does anything come up?

I've already checked that folder. There's nothing in it.

Would it work if I copied WordPad from another computer then pasted it there?

EDIT: Nah... That doesn't work. :(

EDIT 2: I'm so stupid! All I had to do was install The accesories component! Everything is fixed now. :D

That should cover paint....

I guess I accidently un-installed that component. :\
