Where'd the platypus come from?

My mom's out-of-province right now and since my dad was too lazy to make a lunch like she normally does, we had to go out to grab something to eat today. So as we were driving to Taco Bell, this was our conversation...

Me: I had this really weird dream last night. I don't remember much of it but I know you were in it.
Dad: Really?
Me: I only remember maybe one or two things. I think my subconsious blocked it out to protect me from the weird.
Dad: Haha. Was there a platypus in it?
Me: .................................yes.
Dad: Wait really?
Me: YES HOW DID YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL.
Dad: Wow. You're serious?
Me: Yes. This is really weird. ;__;'

:( This freaked both of us out lmfao. I mean honestly, it's not like the platypus is a common animal. What a guess.

actually the platypus is a pretty neat aniimal, I meal you get the cuteness of an otter with a little bit of duck and beaver thrown in!
