Do you perfer mono type or dual type pokemon on your team?

For me I perfer mono types, its easier to point out their weaknesses and which moves they can and cannot learn. Its a reason why I like the eevee evolutions, and also the johto starters.

I would say Duo since 2 out of 3 of my favorite pokemon are duo (Nidoking and Gengar) but other than that I don't have a big preference since I don't do competitive battling.

I prefer dual types. OU Pokemon are overwhelmingly dual types, because they are overall stronger and more versatile.

I'm all in for the dual types. I just prefer them over single. They can be versatile. Some of these dual types work really well against some other specific types of pokemon.

Dual Types, because, despite having a greater amount of weaknesses (generally speaking) they also have better type coverage, and more STAB moves.

    Scizor and Lanturn ftw.

It really all just depends on the pokemon for me,

Dual types since they get 2 types for STAB. And although they sometimes have more weaknesses, the types can cancel each other out to get rid of a weakness, and they can have more resistances too =P

I prefer dual type Pokemons. Not only are they versatile involving move-sets, one type of a Pokemon can nullify the weakness of the other (Gastrodon).

However, the weakness in dual type Pokemons is the chance of being pin-pointed with one weakness (Gyrados)

Dual types may have 4x weakness like a Magical Leaf on a Quagsire. But it can have double or triple immunity like a Sableye receiving a Normal, Fighting or Psychic attack, what is good. And you can use two STABs too.

But it depends on the Pokémon. If i like to use it, i will no matter what type it is.

I prefer mono types because they usually have less weaknesses than dual types. Also by memory I can remember what each type is weak too, but when I'm dealing with dual types sometimes I forget whats weak to what. I like to keep it simple as possible.

Dual. I think they are more interesting and better in the games. I tend to ditch mono typed pokémon in favor of dual typed.

I have to go with dual type. Even though they can give Pokemon plenty of weakness such as the Grass/Psychic combo, they can also give Pokemon useful resistances and eliminate weaknesses. One example would be the Water/Ground type combo. Even though you have a quadruple weakness to Grass, you are now immune to Electric attacks which is a far better deal.

I like Dual types. Their STABS give more overall coverage.
