I choose Bulbasaur, because it is the underdog of the trio. Also, I have both Blastoise and Charizard in D/P so I want to have Bulbasaur for a change.

Charmander, always Charmander.
Reasons? Charizard is my favorite Pokemon and in FR and LG you get Suicune after you beat the E4.

For those of you who like Chari to get Suicune, keep in mind there's a glitch that makes the running legendary dog have terrible IVs...

I've always stuck with Bulbasaur beacuse it gives you an advantage in the first few gyms. Plus, Bulbasaur is my favorite one!
