Cyndaquil is what i would choose b/c i used it in gold/crystal. lol.
 
I always liked Cyndaquil. My favorite fire type starter overall, and probably my favorite starter of all time, so that would be my choice. I already have all three though.
 
I would choose Cyndaquil! They where always my favorite.
 
I have not gotten that far in the game but I will choose Cyndaquil or even Totodile.

According to the stats, Cyndaquil -> Typhlosion is the better of the three to choose, but then again, that depends on how you plan to use the pokemon.
 
I don't know who I would pick, but maybe Chickorita because I don't have one yet and she is awesome for supporting the team as a Meganium!

I have always used Chikorita in Crystal and Shiny Gold.

But I would be more interested in Bulbasaur. Because of Sleep Powder.
 
I'd take Totodile, but Cydaquil and Chikorita come in a close second. Totodile, because that was the one I got when first playing the G/S/C Games.
 
Why, the same Johto starter I'd pick in Johto, Totodile! Cyndaquil's cool too, but how could I say no to a dancing blue crocodile?
