Which non-evolved Pokémon are good?

It can only be very impressive if you can baton pass it some speed or have a trick room team, as it has horrible speed and it's defenses are not brilliant. Although, if you can trap a Pokemon which is locked onto a move which does little damage, you could still manage to pick it off..

I dont think Scyther should count either. Technically its evolution is just an alternative. Nevermind because no one is using Onix! lol.

The inevitable question with Onix vs. Scyther is STAB Stone Edge vs. STAB Aerial Ace.

...What Scizor uses Aerial Ace? =\

Besides, 70 base Speed and an unfortunate 4x weakness to Water slaughters its chances of standing out, especially when you consider that Steelix is UU itself, and UU loves to rain on our parade. (Aren't I just sooo witty? Har har friggin' har. :p)

70 base Speed in a tier littered with Swift Swim doesn't help its inability to "sweep" (we also must compare 45 base Attack to 110. And what is this, really?)

Scyther, on the other hand, has plenty good stats to stand out on its own.

But if you want to call out Scyther and Steelix for being "alternate" evolutions, Slowking, Politoed, Kingdra, Electivire, Magmortar, Rhyperior, Porygon2 (and Porygon-Z), and many others that I'm forgetting, would like to have a word with you.

...Gah. Sorry for all the tl;dr. I'm very bored and have nothing to do. =\

Ur right. The only that apply to that are Slowking and Politoed

Snorlax is the best among em. High HP and Attack and Sp. Def. makes it tough to beat. It's ability to withstand water and fire attacks and it's immune to poison is added to it's uber-ness.

Umm, Snorlax is a fully evolved pokemon. What are u talking about hun?

Well a choice Item Roselia is a good one too.

It's got to be Munchlax in my Diamond save I've got one equiped with a Everstone and it's Lv78 i think and it's moves are:

Flamethrower
Hyper Beam
Thunder
Earthquake

It kills the whole Elite Four for me.

Hmmm...

Scyther is good...
Sneasel is too...
Yanma isalright...
Cranidos is beastly...
Pikachu with light ball is good aswell...

Sunkern is a good non-evolved pokemon..
Why?
Because it's so weak that it gives a great challenge for monospecies challenges!

Gligar, Munchlax, and Scyther are probably the best ones a person could actually have.

I have to agree with Porygon2 that thing can be a beast.
Some that others are forgetting though.

Rhydon-Didn't really need an evolution to begin with, too bad it has a crappy (defensive) typing
Chansey-250 base HP
Dusclops-See third Gen.
Nosepass-Almost superiour too Probopass because of its typing, gets Sandstorm benefits
Mangneton
Golbat-Cleans up in NU

Kadabra, Haunter, Scyther, Electabuzz, Dusclops, Roselia (Choice Scarf), Sneasel, Magneton, Rhydon (Rock Polish), Murkrow (Choice Band), Monferno, Gligar, Pikachu, Clamperl, Trapinch, Nosepass, Tangela (Chlorophyll).

I probably missed some, and not all of them are that great. I just think that these could be used in UU. Think about a mixed Monferno, it's a good lategame sweeper just like Infernape. It learns almost all the moves that Infernape has too, and can be a suicide lead too.

I SAY....CHIMCHAR...I just love the little fella...

but Pichu is so cute as well...oh and lets not forget Aipom, who rocks...
and Squirtle as well!!! gosh there are just so many....lol

Kadabra is still a beast. It has more Special Attack than Lucario, which is pretty high. It's Speed still lets it outpace even Garchomp, Salamence, and Dragonite.

Al right most of these are evolved forms. I wanted people to discuss non-evoved and I even say the first form out of 3 or the first form out of 2.

Kadabra has Abra so that one doesn't count. Haunter has Ghastly, Electabuzz has Elekid, Dusclops has Duskull, Magneton has Magnamite, Rhydon has Rhyhorn, Monferno has Chimchar, and Pikachu has Pichu. So none of those count, what counts are the forms before them. Even if they are babies, they count.

I know this doesnt count but they are still NFE.

Vigoroth has decent stats and no truant, plus he learns both flail and reversal. Pupitar has dd and stab earthquake + stone edge/rock slide which are awesome moves with great typing and power.
