[Other] Which ROM HACK did you buy back in the day?

I've always loved Pokemon playing Pokemon Rom hacks and my love for these fan-made games came to light when I stumbled upon Pokemon Shiny Gold on the whack a hack forum. The thing is, I was too young to know how to patch roms. I did have a Gameboy with me at that point though, (I am sure most of us here had one.)
My dad took me to this mall which had several electronic stores and it was there that I stumbled upon Pokemon Arcoiris version and Shiny gold. Needless to say I ended up buying both of them and spending tons of hours trying to figure out why I could not enter the lighthouse in SG (That was the end of the beta.) and in Arcoiris I got plain lost.

When I was around 10 years old my father once came back from a business trip to China with a 201-in-1 gba cartridge with Pokemon Orange, Quartz, Chaos Black and Frigo Returns and a few really weird ones that were rom hacks of other games, but with one of more Pokemon characters.

The games were ridiculous (only quartz was playable past the first gym), but this was what got me into rom hacking.

Daaamn man! I remember Chaos black. It's box art was in no way related to Pokemon. XD
Quartz holds a special place in my heart. People may trash talk now because ROM hacking has come a long way but dang, New Pokemon plus map changes back in the day were dope.
