It depends on if DST is in effect or not. Right now, DST is in effect, so it's UTC (a.k.a GMT) - 4.

According to the bottom of the page, I live in UTC-5 which is (Central Daylight Time) due to the lame Daylight Savings Time. Majority of Texas is in UTC-5 except for the most western part of the state.
