In Pokemon Diamond, it's currently Mespirit. The only two Pokemon that learn Mean Look and are easy to find are the Gastly and Zubat families. However, they all take lots of damage from Mespirit's Confusion, so I keep having to heal my Golbat a lot as well as trying to put it to sleep with Hypnosios.(sp)

Edit: caught it last night! \o/

In Platinum, it's Giratina...
It's pretty darn hard to catch with just Ultra Balls. Not to mention 3 of it's attacks have only 10 PP at the most so it starts using Struggle to KO itself if you're not fast. >_<
I reset the game at least 5 times trying to catch the dragon before it fainted, but it didn't work so I was forced to use my Master Ball. *cries*

Well for me, actually Arceus was the hardest to catch (hall of origin one...lol). I swear that thing's capture rate is nearly 0.

Mesprit, I caught (again) with a master ball...Cresselia, a Dusk ball! mesprit I had caught in the water...lol...and it was in Lake verity!

Cressila was hardest for me then Mesprit.

Mespirit was actually the hardest to capture, because everytime I nearly captured it, it totally beat my Crobat, and then simply just ran away.

azelf took me about 20 dusk balls, uxie about 5 ultra balls, mesprit about 10 dusk balls, cresselia i imported a master ball, giratina imported another one, and heatran took 2 dusk balls (health in the red)

so azelf was my hardest. easily

Actually, I was able to tame my HoO Arceus with relative ease...

Cressilia for me,it always ranaway v.v
I used master ball out of fustration >.<

definetly mesprit i used my masterball on heatran *hits self in head* dumbest thing i ever did it took me forever to weaken it then encounter it then throw ultraballs at it time after time after time and finall i caught it

Giratina, I suppose. I caught Dialga with a Quick Ball first turn, Palkia with an Ultra Ball after five turns or so (Modest with a perfect Sp Atk IV on my first try), Cress and Mesprit with cloned Master Balls, and Heatran, well, I can't remember, but I don't remember any difficulties.

1. Giratina (both Pearl AND Platinum)
2. Heatran (I finally got it on the second catch of the day; I went crazy for a while)
3. Palkia and Mesprit (I wasn't the one to catch, my bro did it)

I didn't have Diamond.

so far the hardest for me was giratina!almost contemplated using my master ball on it...switched it off 4 times to try again. i gave it a status effect every time and also got it down 2 literally no life..just kept struggling and killing itself in the end, must of used over 50 dusk/ultra balls on it both times...!but managed to get it in the end!all the rest were fairly easily, had a crobat that knew mean look!

Well for me, actually Arceus was the hardest to catch (hall of origin one...lol). I swear that thing's capture rate is nearly 0.

REALLY? I must of been SOO lucky! I got it down to the red paralyzed it and caught it first time with an ultra ball!! O_o And did I mention it WAS a legitimate one in the hall of origin.

Well Dialga and Palkia have a high catch rate prepared to all other legendaries. On my Diamon the Two none roaming Legendaries we're the hardest for me. All the others we're easy.

On Platinum I am finding Moltres to be the hardest.

i agree with empoleon on this one!

garatina takes a very long time to catch, you have gotta throw like 20 dusk balls at him to catch him unless your really lucky and have masterballs with you!!!(i have a shiny one) :)

Wow...a lot of people say Mesprit...GIRATINA's CATCHING UP!!!!
