This may seem like a silly question (and easy for some), but which of your parents do you like best?

I like my Mom >=)
I dunno.. she's just less strict than my Dad ^^

Although of course I like them both, I just prefer my Mom a lil' bit more.

Neither... They are both deformed, from the inside. My dad keeps on saying: " When I was in Paris... When I studied Psychologie... All the human-beings should be like Albert Einstein... - You know guys, my dad is like one of those Science freak, just like me. :3

But my dad always says " Yes ". Here are few examples...:

Me: Dad, can I have 5.00$?
Dad: Yes.

Me: Dad, can you buy me a game? And yes, it will last for long, this time.

My mother: REALLY STRICT ._.! One day, she went in my room. She went on my computer and saw stuff on MSN. Then she started to panic.

Normally I'd say my mother but... ugh, she nags too much and when she's mad, she never shuts up. She's also hypocritical and always thinks she's right.

I mean, when she's like... constantly yelling at me and nagging at me for things that happened half an hour ago, I'll be sitting in my room calling her very not-nice things under my breath while wishing someone had implanted a bomb inside her and that it would blow up or somethin'.

But of course, that's only when I'm annoyed with her. My dad is much more laid back. I can actually yell at my younger sisters and thwack them when they deserve and not go half deaf. He's just all, "Whatever." about it and never really nags like my mom. But my mom has been there for me more often then my dad. And my dad's stingy.

and she buys more stuff lol.

I use to prefer my mother when I was little. I didn't spend much time with my dad at all. Since she's gone now though I don't really prefer my stepmom or my dad. z_z

I love my parent equally, but I'm really close to my dad because of my Irish side. He's Irish... and I took from my dad's side of the family and my brother took from my mom's side, desu. But that aside, it's a real horrible thing for me to even think of choosing a favorite. ;^;

My mom was an overprotective religious right she-devil that constantly ate at my self-esteem when I was a kid consequently causing me to turn out socially maladjusted in my teenage years at which point she nagged at me all the time because I "retreated to the internet instead of making real friends", thus destroying any self-esteem I had left. To top it off, when she divorced my dad last month, she took my younger brother (the closest friend I have in the world) with her three states away so she can nag about how much he fails at life...

My dad is a much more laid back fellow. Sure he has a dark past, but he has redeemed himself and was never a bad parent in my memory. He was always much more involved in my life and my interests than my mom was, and he actually helped my self-esteem in my teenage years instead of destroying it.

Basically, that's EXACTLY what happened to me minus the brother and divorce thing. Which I am sad to hear about, my friend.

But yeah. My Mom's overprotective and neurotic, and my Dad is the bomb. Laid back and cool, never done a thing wrong to me.

Love 'em both but I'd stick with Dad in a heartbeat.

Well at least you have a dad. I'm serious, my mom, well, let's just say I never got to see my dad due to "Circumstances". So yeah, My mom, I guess...:(

Ah... if you had asked me about this two years ago, I would of said my Mother in a heartbeat. But now, the relationships with my parents have changed tremendously. When I was fourteen, my parents found out I was gay. My Mother was upset but my Dad went insane. I went to counselors, psychiatrists, etc. It was all because of my Father - I was mad at my Mother for letting him make me go, but I knew she did it because once my Father is set on something, he doesn't give up. On top of this, I was mad at my Father because of my parent's seperation (long story in itself). But once he came to realize that me being gay wasn't the end of the world and we all stopped going to the psychiatrist, life changed. My Father and I began to get along and could actually have a conversation with one another. Now I get along with both of my parents (I've only fought with my father twice since I stopped going to the psychiatrist) and I miss them tremendously now that I'm away at college.

But, I wouldn't pick either parent. I love them both.

My Dad.

He always nice and willing to help me out with homework without bugging me about it and saying "DO YOUR HOMEWORK NOWZ!!!1!"

When I was between the ages of 1-7 I would say "MY MOMMY!" but now, I see her strict side, and she can get really ticked off. She's also weird.
One time, we went into Kmart to get my Grandma (Mor Mor is what we call her) some clothes, and I didn't want to be there, so my mom didn't buy anything beacuse she "Can't buy anything with that look on your face".
I was "WTF?"

So, I still love booth of them, but I perfer my dad a little more. Every child like the fun and helpful one over the strict one.
