    I think Ash's best rival is Gary!!
    So who do you think is Ash's best Rival?
     
    I think Gary was, but now he's gone and the rivalry has pretty much ended. Paul comes in second.
     
    I'm gonna have to say Gary. Gary was tough, smart, but actually respected his pokemon. SOme of his other rivals liek Masamune/Morrison were a tad ehhh.

    No i thought Gary came back, then fought ash after the battle frontier, then went to Sinnoh, and incase thats why Ash went, seems to me their rivalry is still valid, but we havent seen gary much, but i would have to say Gary is the strongest rival.

    I thought Gary went to follow in his grandpa's footsteps and went to become a pokemon professor. o_O
     
    Shinji. We finally get an actual badass mean character in the show. It's awesome! :D

    I love Gary, but Shinji totally beats Gary's snobby self.
     
    I vote for Gary. I kinda like him, he's got style unlike the others.
     
    Gary for the win. Anything from season 1 > anything from any other pokemon season.
     
    I liked Gary..But the Rivaverly is basically over becuase Ash has already beaten him so Gary cant act all showeyoffey anymore (Yes I know thats not a word) Becuase if you think about it Gary used to be kind of snobby just like Paul until Ash beat him. But now, I think that Paul is the best rival, Gary used to be cool though.
     
    Definitely Paul.

    As much as I loved Gary, he barely showed up at all, and his character got kind of boring after a while. Now, we have Paul, who is not only a total jerk to Ash, but to his pokemon as well. He's badass, and exactly what the show needed, imo. Paul is probably the character I'm interested in most this season, because we're continually learning more about him - yet why he acts the way he does is still a mystery.
     
    Omg Paul but he's so anoying, Lets throw this pokemon away...

    i think dis should b a poll. neway, GARY IS DA BEST! paul treats his pokemon lyke crap, and i dont lyke people lyke that. but u nho my fav rival of ash of all time? RITCHIE! he beat ash, better yet, he beat ash in the POKEMON LEAUGE! his pokemon wear at lower evo forms and he still beat ash. prooves how much ash sux! :P

    Yeah i do agree ash sucks, but the only reason he lost at the pokemon league, was only because he couldn't control his Charizard, if he was able, the match would've gone in ash's favor.
     
    i think ash's best rival is Gary then its Paul
