Who do you think is the awesomest trainer?

    As the name states, this is a poll about who do you think is the most awesome trainer in the pokemon games concerning the default player characters and their rivals.

    Yes, you can decide because of the manga, but try to keep it out of the discussion.
     
    Player; Gold
    Rival; Silver

    I might just be a GSC-obsessee, but to be honest, I don't like the other male characters, and I really dislike most female players. Gold is just cool, and I guess I'm basing it off the manga a little bit, but Gold has like...I swear, he has a red lip in GSC. I kid you not.

    Rivals...well, come on. That's obvious.
     
    hmmm I think Red is the best trainer because of his high leveled Pokemon

    Red and Gold are easily the best playable characters in the series. :D

    In terms of rivals, Silver for sure...he's a lot darker and antagonistic than Green, who just comes off as a bit of an a-hole. >_>
     
    Player: Leaf/Blue (looks awesome, doesn't get the publicity she deserves)
    Rival: Silver (Love his attitude, it's what this series needs)
    Leader: Jasmine
    Elite: Lorelei
    Bad Guy: Giovanni
     
    player/gold he did so much more in one game than the rest of them
    rival/silver:he's so dark and evil
    gym leader:misty,koga,or erika
    elite four:agatha she's so underated
     
    Gotta say Red. I still remember the first time I fought him. I saw that number "81" on Pikachu's status bar, and my jaw dropped. I wish I could wipe my memory of Red clean so when I face him in SS, I can get a similar reaction out of myself upon seeing that "88".
     
    Trainer: Original and best. Red.
    Rival: Silver. I remember the first time I played the game, I got really upset that he stole those Pokémon and even more upset when he kicked my arse with them. ._.
    Gym Leader: Maylene. Because her Lucario is awesome. :3
    Evil: Cyrus. Not because he was ~omg strong~ or anything, but because out of all of the EVIL NPCs, he's the one whose reason for being evil actually sorta makes sense. D:
     
    I have awesomest for each category:
    Trainer: Red
    Rival: Silver(Kamon)
    Gym Leader: Sabrina (The original and best psychic user)
    Champ: Cynthia
    Villain: Giovanni (Sure, destroying the world is cool, but having people fear you and tremble beneath your feet, plus the classic bond villain look, can't get any better than that)
     
    Best Rival by far is Silver.
    My favorite gym leader is Koga because he is a ninja and I like his battle tactics.

    Well, I'd have to say Red would be the best trainer in terms of Pokemon and power. But I DID beat him...
