In my opinion, it was the Indigo Four. Ya'know; Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha, Lance, and the Champion, Blue. Best. Trainers. Ever.

this belongs in the general forum discussion forum part. but the best for me is generation 1's elite 4

    pretty cool.

I always thought the guy with the green

The hoenn Elite 4... they had there own theme tune

    I liked all of them.

But the Johto and Kanto were my favs.

Best is so weak. I'll just assume I know what you mean...

    Indigo - Years Ago
Lorelei was better on the screen, but she didn't use the same name (at least in the dub). No points. Bruno was a pushover. Agatha's team was challenging, and the Ghost type was still one of those coveted types 'cause there aren't none in Kanto but Gastly. She was effective. Lance was equally effective because, in all honesty, I was terrified of the guy. His pokemon were rare and powerful...how do you beat that? Mister Rival...yeah, they executed him well. Afterwards could'a been a bit better, but...

    Indigo - Present
I liked Will! His team is to this day pretty unique (not diverse). Koga scored just as many points as Agatha did last gen. he loses one for having no Weezing in 'ere. Bruno...meh. No point. Karen's team fit in the coveted type category, so she was effective for that reason and her speech afterwards. Lance is just awesome, and nobody forgets that song...

    Hoenn - Before
    Cool Song Award
Sydney had no personality. I'll give him and this E4 as a whole the design award 'cause they all look unique. Phoebe's story could've been developed slightly more, and her team was should've been DP-ified (yanno, non-Ghost types). Glacia was confident, and her team is challenging if you ain't prepared. Good. Drake is just plain awesome, and, c'mon, he had a Salamence! Steven...we'll never get anyone quite like him again.

    Hoenn - After
    Cool Song Award
Wallace was shoved into Steven's role...they could've done better with that.

    Sinnoh - DP
This E4 deserves much credit for their realistic and beleivable teams. Aaron is forgettable. Bertha is too. I defended Flint as my favourite E4 member in another thread yesterday, but this one overall is too weak for him to be able to redeem them. Lucian's intro was nice, and Bronzong was something else. Cynthia annoys me to no end. Let's get Steven back, shall we?

    Sinnoh - Pt
HUGE loss, IMO...they're pretty meaningless now.

If I gotta do it as a group, Johto's Elite Four wins. Yeah, they're in the 40s...so?

The Johto Four were kinda pathetic. Especially Will! The only way you could lose was if you had brought all Ghost types!

...You would lose to a Psychic trainer with ghost types? Your logic there, I suppose. Johto wasn't the best, but Karen took a while for me to beat.

Anyway, I'd have to say Indigo League and Sinnoh League. Indigo was just...jeminy crickets and Sinnoh actually had a Champion that, like in generation I, had different types of Pokemon.

(Why did flint have Steelix, Drifblim and Lopunny?)

Because Gamefreak failed big time by making Flint a fire-type specialist when the only fire-types available in-game in D/P were the Chimchar family and the Ponyta family. >_>

Anyways, I'd have to vote for the Johto E4 myself. Sure they're low-leveled, but that doesn't stop them from having four of the most difficult battles (and one mediocre battle...BRUNO!!) in any pokemon game ever.

The hardest for me was definitely kanto, because when i first fought i thought that lance was the last and I finally beat lance only had 1 Pokemon that was barely hanging. and then Gary just annihilated me

Hmm... I gotta go with Sinnoh here. Cool pick of types, and a great (and actually challenging) Champion. I should note that I mean Platinum's Elite Four, though, I think they had awesome battle screens, and the rooms they were in were pretty cool.

Also because Flint's male Lopunny in Diamond/Pearl freaks me out. That thing should not exist.
