    It would be shameful if I didn't post here, hehe...
    The Mario series is one of my favorite of all-time; I haven't been disappointed by a Mario game yet! My favorite game that he's in, though not a true platformer, like the ones you mentioned, would have to be Paper Mario. I can't begin to count how many times I have played that game, hehe...
    I'm really excited for the sequel!
     
    I was like 8 or 9 when I got my N64 with S64...and I was scared of Bowser and the big Boo near the way to the back courtyard with the ghosts. Whenever I had to go to the Ghost levels, I went down to the basement, closed my eyes and hoped I would be able to make it there without seeing anything. I nly got as far as the second Bowser battle before I was too scared to play on. Then 2 years later, I beat the game with all 120 (121?) stars. Then I got Sunshine and I'm still looking for all the sprites.
     
    I simply love the original Super Mario Bros. on NES. I like Yoshi's Island, Super Mario 64 and Paper Mario as well.

    Paper Mario was so much fun. Yoshi's Safari on SuperNES. That's a great game. *goes to play it*

    Before I was Zelda obsessed I was Mario obsessed (okay inbetween there I was PkMn obsessed, but that's irrevelant right now). The Mario cartoon I still watch for the live action sequences, which I find to be funny. I'm probably one of the few people who enjoy the movie.
     
    Yeah, Mario is one of the best game characters ever, and the games are always great. I'm especially fond of Super Mario Advance 2 and Super Mario 64, as well as the Donkey Kong arcade game where he was simply known as Jumpman...at least those are the three Mario games that I was the best at. He's more than just a video game character, he's a cultural icon who has spanned two generation and will span many more to come with his superior games...I want to play mario games until I'm an old man, I just hope Nintendo stays in business that long...

    I like all mario games, my favourite mario game is either Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart 64, or Mario Superstar Saga,
     
    i luv mario games, theyre simply hav a great storyline to them all. my favorites r sunshine, luigis mansion,super mario 64,doubledash,tennis,and SSB:M. i dont know all the games(theres to many)but he's my favorite nintendo character.
    mario partys are pretty much hes worse games.
     
    How can anyone not like Mario XD. Mario is basically the posterboy for Nintendo and the posterboy videogames, he has such a history behind him its would be odd for anyone to have anything against him.

    Mario has been with me since I was knee high to a grasshopper, so of course I love this great gaming mascott. He will forever be my favorite gaming hero.

    Mario and Mario games RULEZZZ, well anyways, I adore any game dealing with Nintendo, like starfox, ssbm, pokemon, zelda, earthbound, kirby, etc...
