Who/Where Should I Go to for Help With Specific Questions Related to My Rom Hack?

Hey guys,

I recently got into hacking a few weeks ago and I've already come a decently long way. At first it was all trial-and-error with a lot of experimenting, learning, and frustration. As far as scripting goes, I've still got a long way to go. Tonight I spent quite awhile learning about Hex editing and went a bit deeper into XSE. After what seemed like forever, I finally implemented a working NPC trade into my hack. It felt great when it finally worked the way that I wanted it to, however there are other things such as certain scripts and general questions that I absolutely cannot find anything on, anywhere on the internet. I'm wondering if there's a certain person that I can go to, or if I should just post my questions here? This is actually my first post on Pokecommunity, so I hope I'm in the right spot!

This is the right spot to ask for such questions. Before asking a lot of questions I suggest closely following Anthroyd's Generation III ROM Hacking Video Series on Youtube. That's a great place to start! For a more elaborate scripting tutorial I suggest Avara's or DiegoIsAwesome's scripting tutorials. If you're having a specific problem, try searching the forums first, because there is plenty of good tutorials available on this website!
