Who will you save?

Like stated in most of the above posts, it would be rather evil to save a person, just to let them live the rest of their life in loneliness.
But I assume that this thread was made to find out who you would save from dying, if all of the people close to you were to die in 5 minutes.
In that case I would either save my mother, or my brother, as they are the people closest to me, and the ones who I would actually need to continue my life. (not my dad, 'cause he's already dead :()
 
I would not condemn anyone to a lifetime of lonliness.
Not even the people I don't like. As much fun as it would be >.>
But no one deserves life like that.
 
Assuming I'm also saved, I guess someone of the opposite gender to save the human race. Or if not, then a female who knows how to use IVF to save the human race.
 
I suppose that you'd be in a fairly good position to save someone else, and so would be alive with them. And if that is the case, I'd save my greatest friend of course. Doesn't need to be thought about twice at all.
 
Um... If I save someone will I save myself also? But honestly, I can't really think of anyone precious enough to save over the others I care about.
