Yeah no why. Just doing this on a whim, so even I don't get it.
Aaaaanyway, name's Adlan, otherwise known around the net as Xilfer. (I'm not all the Xilfers though. Just most of them. They're all watching you) I'm a fifteen year old probably-partially-insane guy who spends most of his day most of his week in his room, doing stuff on the computer. Hey, it's summer holidays, I can do what I want.
Let's see... stuff about myself. I live in Ontario, Canada, in this crappy little backwater town with not much to do. Even if I went outside, it'd be pointless. I go to a catholic school that's situated in the middle of nowhere miles from here, and it sucks. That's an objective observation. Personally I don't think it's that bad. But what school doesn't suck.
That's not to say I'm religious though; I'm more along agnostic, recently leaning towards atheist. It's just that catholic schools are better quality than regular public schools, at least hereabouts, so I put up with the extra religion classes. For now. I'm also looking around for a job seeing as I do nothing all summer, but there's barely any work around here for minors (or anyone for that matter) other than at the local WalMart and Tim Hortons, which... yeah, I'd rather avoid those jobs if I could.
My hobbies include writing, reading, watching anime, and playing video games, just like any good shut-in should! Writing and reading are a given, since I'm a regular down at the Roleplay Corner on this site. Have been for years. Anime is something I've only taken a liking to this year, but damn has it grown on me. It's like an unstoppable addiction, I just love it. Video games, less so. I used to play them a lot more, but since I started up with anime it's been just an hour or two every day, and usually just the main Pokemon games, since they don't require much effort. I'm no hardcore gamer.
Hmm... what else? God, I just realized I must have painted an incredibly unattractive picture of myself with the first bit there. Anyway, I'm not actually Canadian. I've lived here for almost four years now, but from appearances and the way I talk no one would be able to tell I wasn't just born and raised here. I've been country-hopping since I was young; from Belgium, my place of origin, to Quebec, to England, and back to Canada but this time Ontario. As such, adapting to different cultures comes naturally to me. (You may think Quebec and Ontario wouldn't be different cultures since they're in the same country, but they're fairly different. Trust me) And yes, I'm from Belgium. But I'm not completely Belgian. In fact, I also have some Algerian blood in me.
Yeah, that's all I can think of. Feel free to ask away, I guess.
