why are most OU and Uber's ugly?

I been looking at smogon list(the king of pokemon society)
and all the OU and ubers are mostly ugly. only latias, latios, vaperon, and dragonite are cute.

I dont know why Milotic is in UU she is loads better then vaperon(unless, it's a timid nature)

I'll give you three reasons why to use Vaporeon.

1) Wish.
This little thingy restores 50% hp on the next turn, even if it is a different poke that used it. Meaning that if you have a Vaporeon that used Wish, and switched in, say, Lucario, on the next turn Lucario would recover 50% of its HP without doing anything! That is incredibly useful due to all the "extra damage" that floods the game, such as spikes, stealth rock, leech seed, sandstorm, life orb, and so on... Wish is invaluable, to put it straight.

2) Water Absorb.
A Gyarados that has Dragon Danced does up to 34% to a Milotic with Waterfall, Vaporeon avoids all that. It has an immunity to one of the best offensive types in the game, that alone is good reason to use it.

574 Atk vs 282 Def & 394 HP (80 Base Power): (28.93% - 34.01%)

3) Grass Knot.
Milotic eats loads of damage from a 100 Base Power Grass Knot due to its weight.
Vaporeon recieves only a 60 BP Grass Knot since it's way lighter, giving it a slighty higher staying factor, whilst also making it a very good Infernape counter.

Don't forget that Vaporeon also can Baton Pass 101 HP Substitutes, and can haze/roar away status boosts.
That's probably why Vaporeon is used over Milotic.

This is something that is very logical in my opinion.I really can't think of some other logic than that^_^. I really don't think that OU and Ubers are ugly. Dialga is a pokemon whom I consider beautiful. (Maybe almost all of PC users might disagree over the point that Dialga is beautiful, but its just my opinion! I simply looooove dialga!!)

As a number of Lasses' statements have indicated in the earlier games, Pokemon design follows the principle that weak Pokemon are cute while strong ones are ugly, intentionally.
It leaves the player to a choice of whether or not to keep their Pokemon from evolving into more powerful but often less visually pleasing forms — on the non-evolving end they end up with a weaker Pokemon but it learns some different moves it otherwise wouldn't and still looks nice, on the evolving end they simply gain more power and (I think) effort values increase (so a Pokemon evolved as soon as it can be will ultimately have higher stats than one whose evolution has been put off for a while).

It doesn't really matter to me how they look anyways, if they're strong use them.

Anyway, not all of them are ugly. ;\ I mean, sure, you have some like Heatran etc., but there are some cute ones (such as Celebi, manaphy, Shaymin, Jirachi etc.) Besides, diofferent people have different tastes in Pokemon. :\

I can sort of see where you're coming from but I don't find most OU or Ubers ugly. If anything, I find them good-looking in their own way. Admit it, Tyranitar looks beast. So does Infernape. And Vaporeon's a cutie. :3

I will admit though, I'm much more partial to pokemon in the BL, UU and NU tiers due to my preference but I'm a casual battler so it doesn't really matter to me.

Actually Milotic was created to be beauty and to be strong. The others, except the cute legendaries (oh God), are, I think, supossed to look like, not ugly, but mad. And they are not ugly at all, if compared to some (oh God again).

Vaporeon is milotic nightmare, she is also my strongest pokemon. I can see why she is more popular then Milotic.
Vaporeon can also do alot more move like shadow ball and acid armor.

Well no, they are not.

XD I had to laugh at this. Blissey is often considered the best special wall in the game. A lot of competitive battlers use one and all competitive battlers need to have a way to defeat one. I honestly don't think it's really that "pretty" (Chansey was "prettier"), but there's no denying that Blissey can be a very dangerous Pokémon. As for Floatzel and Azumarill...I never thought they were pretty to begin with.

Anyway, it's true that most Ubers and OU are not cute or pretty, but I think a lot of them look pretty freaking cool. Tyranitar, Lucario, Lugia, Mewtwo, and numerous others are among the coolest-looking Pokémon IMO.

Most of the stronger Pokémon aren't really cute, but I think that they look cool. I like both cute and cool Pokémon.
