Why do people say Infernape is so good?

I never really liked Infernape, because I like things that can hit hard with decent speed and relatively good defense. I can see why people would like him, but he never found a place on my team.

Well...With the recent improvements given to Blaziken in B/W, Infernape can't really boast superior speed or power anymore, the coverage that his typing gives him along with Stab+Iron Fist boosted Mach Punches make him something to be reckoned with.

As for his tanking skills, don't let the body armor fool you. Infernape can't take an attack from a Luvdisc.

Why do people think Blaziken is so good? Because it is. It's a strong sweeper (NOT A TANK) and annoying to face in battle. Although as Niprop said Speed Boost Blaziken now outclasses it with its better speed.
