Why do people still accuse others of being noobs if they use legendaries?

So basically, if you use legendary Pokemon there will still be kids here and there who will accuse you for being a n00b because you use legends. Sure, I get it when you're using Ubers or something, but still...

You're telling me legendaries are for kids and noobs and those who can't battle. So basically, Shaymin, Latios, Latias, Virizion, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Suicune, Entei, Raikou, Azelf, Mesprit, Terrakion, Keldeo and so on are for noobs? Then who is Mega Kangaskhan for?

A misplaced sense of superiority? idk.

As far as I'm concerned, unless you're playing competitively, if it's in the game, then it's meant to be used. At least if you want to use it. If you do, you shouldn't be judged for that by people who don't.

I've actually seen a lot of casual players call others n00bs for using legendaries, but those were mostly older casuals who have this sense of superiority and think they're the best at this game. They're usable for a reason - do whatever you want.

I guess casuals would because they very overpowered in a normal battle situation. In competitive though, pretty sure this isn't a thing.
