aaaaah, oh gosh, I'm gonna try my best not to ramble and say too much but I know I have a tendency to do that so!

hello there everybody!! as it seems for several of the users here, I was attracted to this lovely community by the treasure trove of ROM hacking info - I'd actually been scouring for information for weeks, but every other webpage I found was like....some .html site that hadn't been updated since like 2004 so this is definitely an oasis, omg

BUT YEAH, I'm almost done with a degree in game design so I'd love to test out some of the stuff I've learned with a rom, since I've always wanted to make one ;w; I just completed summer classes and finished moving into a new house, so I finally have some time to do things before fall classes start up again!

other than that, my passion is digital art/pixel art and also video games, of course! I esp love stuff like Harvest Moon, Fallout, and Life is Strange hnnnn and like everyone else I'm super stoked for Sun and Moon. future starters, anyone? ;0 (mine's totes Rowlet)

so yeah. I'm really excited to be a part of this awesome-looking community! it's been a really hard summer/year, with moving away from my best friend of 7+ years and also our young cat being diagnosed with leukemia and having to deal with the hefty vet bills for treatment. I can't wait to hopefully get to know you all and be active n' such, so if anyone wants to chat about games, or Pokemon, or anything, just hit me up! <3

Hello there! and welcome to PC, you shouldn't worry about rambling. Being quiet is boring!

Oh nice! ROM hacking is very popular here indeed, there's a lot of people working on their own projects and all, it's very nice to see. I'm glad to hear about your career, I'm sure you're going to be great at it. Making a ROM hack sounds like a great project to start, they take a lot of time though. If you take it easy and work with other people, I think you could come up with something nice. Sorry to hear about your cat and friend! those things are very tough and I'm always open for a message if you ever need to talk with somebody, don't even doubt about it, okay? :)

and thank you for the welcome as well! yesyes, I'm SO excited to spend time there, I've already got the major tools download I think but I'll definitely go over everything from the start to make sure. I've made quite a few (group) games in my classes already so at least I kind? of?? know some stuff when it comes to scripting but of course I know it'll be way different with hacking like this than, say, unreal jsdhhfd

also I can't help but see you live in Seattle? :'0 oh man, I just visited there last year (central florida over here) and even though I wasn't expecting to I loved it so! much!! I never even knew it was a big city like that, I never pictured myself moving away from Florida but dang the trip really made me want to live there ;W;; so beautiful and active, aaaa

Oh I don't draw, I just do Photoshop because I'm a little siggy warrior! Some of my fav games are Fire Emblem, Smash Bros, Pokemon of course, God of War, GTA, League of Legends, Osu, and many more i can't remember titles right now haha. Welcome again. It's a pleasure meeting you :)
