"Why is Gyarados Water/Flying?"

He's fine as is. All I ask is that he gets FLY so he has a Flying STAB (OCD - all my PKMN need STAB moves for both types) that is not Bounce, and so I can be like Bastian on Falkor in game, chase some rockets into a dumpster.

All in all just to be fair they should've made him just water if they didn't want him to be too powerful I mean why add more weaknesses

I think Water/Flying was just plain stupid.

"Hey honey, I'm going out for a bit, may take a walk or something,"

'Oh, darling, take Gyarados with you! So if you're lost you can fly back safe, okay?'

"Okay... sigh..."

I mean, how STUPID is that? He doesn't learn anything flying type moves (as far as I know) plus Electric types rule the world when next to him. Kinda... unless he is super powerful and overpowered... I never forget a face... ehehehehehehe! >:D

Everybody chooses the over-powered Pokemon. Why? Why would you pick the Pokemon which takes you through the game in one hour instead of a fully enjoyable adventure with a CHALLENGE???!!
