I posted back in a different thread that i had caught my Legendary pokemon in pokeballs only to have someone come out of the blue and give me the "you can't catch Legendaries in pokeballs" speech.

I only have one thing to ask. How would they know you can't? Have they ever tried?.....Sorry i'll rephrase that....Have they ever tried MORE THEN ONCE!!

It's so annoying to do something like that, Take time out to do something to be proud of only to have a half wit come along and say it's impossible...
Half the time they just try and fail so give up or don't even try at all and then demean others by saying they are lying. If you can't do it yourself don't come on here and try and prove someone wrong when you have no proof it is impossible nor have you seen them trying it. Some things are best kept to yourself. Unless you have tried it or found actually proof on a OFFICIAL WEBSITE saying it can't be done then don't try and undermine others!

Anyone else have similar problems or have anything to say?

I have a box with Legendary pokemon in pokeballs and my friends (the ones who bet it was impossible) were there and watched me each time i caught it just so i could prove them wrong.

When people start given people grief when they have no proof or haven't even tried because "They are so much better and know so much more then us....i bet half of them don't even know that Mirage Island is connected to your pokemons I.D Number!!

same thing with me, my biking record is 7.0 and someone bad repped me saying LIAR:P

I think this thread should be moved to the games section. (I don't know which game section, though...)

I seriously don't know why people just don't believe that any Pok?mon can be caught in a standard issue Pok?ball. I mean, since the Red/Blue days, I've caught all possible Pok?mon with Pok?balls (with exceptions of the Safari Zone Pok?mon and the like), just to give myself some more play time. Especially legendaries, since you can only catch them once. It's tough, and usually takes more than one try, but I eventually get them in Pok?balls. (usually around the 50 mark) I'm even crazy enough to catch Shineys in Pok?balls. (assuming that they don't run away...)

Basically, if you want to catch legendaries with Pok?balls, you must have plenty of patience. I admit that I've had to talk myself not to bash my GBA against the wall a few times.

If you don't believe me, just come over to my house. I can easily prove in my Advanced games though Pok?mon BOX. (the older games are a tougher bunch to prove...)

But I still can't see how you can get lower than 9.16 seconds on the bike record. Anybody care to explain this to me???

General Games Discussion to be exact.

And it sure is possible to catch a Legendary with a Pokeball!

Anyway, for those of you who were getting bad repped for those comments, you could've just told an admin. But since the rep system is gone... :\

It's nearly impossible, but you can still do it.

Rolling with my last post about Mirage Island, for all you who don't know, the thing about it is that it has a number that changes daily at random. The number is between 1-9 and if it is the same number as that of your first (Or last...cant remember) Pokemon I.D then it will apear. Funky huh? :D

I hate how some people still believe the Alternating Cave works in conjuction with card e-reader+...
I mean, R/S has been out for 3 years now and people still believe this -_-
