I was EV training my shiny medicham by fighting bidoof but when he leveled his stats didn't really go up at all. I fought at least 15 or so.

4th Gen Why is my training not working?

Each Bidoof only gives off 1 EV, and it takes 4 EVs to increase a stat by 1. So of course fighting 15 Bidoofs isn't going to increase the stat by much.
(unless you had Pokerus or a Macho Brace, of course...)

Macho Brace its located in Pastoria city you have to show someone the 3 types of Burmy

Macho Brace can be obtained from the Windstrate family north of Mauville in Emerald.

THanks for the help. I was used to the macho brace in emerald that's why I was confused.
