Question: Why?

The added posts stating "reported" and so on was a bit unneeded but not to the point of an infraction IMO.
But I warned you several times. ^^;
I even told you via PM :(

And, yet, you still did it! What am I supposed to do, let you do as you please just because you think you know better? D:
That wouldn't be right at all v_v;!!

He's only trying to be a helpful member.. I didn't see any signs of n00b bashing.. or 'mini' modding besides the oh you're reported posts, which I've already said are unnecessary.
In occasions, they resulted in the Thread Creator reacting negatively, which just led to an argument between the two about the rules. ^^;

And, why waste one's time arguing and such when one could just report something and a moderator can manage it? I mean, that's what we moderators are here for, right? To moderate. :)

This thread was made on August 25th, one whole day passed before Ursula closed it. I reported that thread while she was online, and hours later, she was still on, and it was still open. I'm not asking for them to be on here 24/7. But if they have the time to PM and VM all their little friends, they have time to close thread that are not supposed to be there, because here's the secret: It's their job to do so!
Unless I'm on my phone, I always do reports as soon as I see them. ^^
And, sorry. u_u; I started school on Monday, so I mean yeah :'(! Sorry!
I can only do so much - I'm only human, after all. :D
I got a warning for saying "Reported, have a nice day :)", W. T. F. That's not minimodding, that's saying "you did wrong, so I reported you so a mod can take care of it so I don't get in trouble." But guess what, I did. Things have changed here in 4 years. Being polite never called for a warning before.
Um, if you can tell me how on earth that pertains to a thread about trading, then I will consider your complaint valid. Otherwise, I'm sorry. You were going off of topic, and I had previously asked you not to, I believe.

If I recall correctly, in another post, you mentioned "I don't care if I get a warning for this", or something to that extent. So, it seemed to me that you were blatantly disregarding what I had asked you previously. :)
Thus, I'm shocked that you are actually somewhat surprised that you received such an infraction. Just saying bb.

Have a nice day~~

Can't we all just get along? Newbs will be Newbs and I think its up to people who have been on awhile to try and guide them to following the rules. Some of them want to argue with you....like the "offending newb" did in the above thread...and thats fine. Eventually they realize that posting multiple threads....and trading hacks is not a wise thing to do here and will eventually will result in them having threads closed or eventually getting banned...

So I agree with whoever stated a thing to do would be to pm them and tell them to post in the quick trade thread if they are posting multiple threads...or if they are trading hacks to tell them we don't condone that here...Try to be the nice guy. After doing that all you can really do is report them and leave it to someone who has the ability to deal with it...and go along on your merry way. If you get obsessed over things that are so minuscule then your life is going to be a train wreck, so like they say "don't sweat the small stuff."

Hugs everyone xxxxx

This is the big thing about PC that rele ticks me off I agree 100% with
Haunter Master you browsing your favorite forum and you see it being spam, I dont know if its just a few of us but I cant turn my cheek and say o well a mod will get it and there are just not enough mods to deal with all of the crap that nubies make so a simple "dude wrong section fix this up here is how you fix it is not "mini modding it helping the forum and helping the mods have less work and usaly the nubie fixes it thats it the end of story its the mods fault there the ones taking this out of proportion were just helping out sorry if I am not a mod but I am a member he at PC with 500 post so I have invested a lot of time into this site thats why I get so mad at getting a warning for helping
I see that I am with the minority on my opinion so plase dont leave a mean replie
I feel good now that I got this out of my stystem I have kept this inside my self for a wile
if mods can just see were not trying to mini mod or take your job just to make this site better for everyone think of use as help not bothers

I'd advise against that, tbh.
I saw where someone did that recently, and they got a rather snarky PM being somewhat condescending to the person who did that, and then the person who originally sent the PM reported it.. and XD;

But when I ask you not to, that doesn't mean you have the right to do whatever you want anyway, does it? :)
I mean, face it. With that logic, there might as well not even be moderators at all. D;
I apologize for myself, and other moderators when I say I cannot be active 100% of the time. I do have a life, and if it takes a minute, an hour, or even a day for a thread to be closed, at least it's being closed! ^^;

Patience. :)

Another unfortunate thread seemingly hating on the D/P/P moderators. =[

HM, I've known you for a while now and you're a sound guy, so anything I say that follows this is nothing against you personally.

See, this all boils down to the idea of 'mini-modding'. The entire point of the report system is to notify the moderators of an offending thread and walk away. Most reports do not get done instantaneously, as we sort them out when we visit PC. I know I haven't been around as much as I used to, but I still come online every day and sorting out reports is the first thing I do unless I am extremely busy.

But back to the point, as has been said, if you post telling the OP where the thread should have been posted, this is classed as minimodding and is frowned upon in our section (and i daresay everywhere else), even though I understand you are only trying to help. Likewise with the posts telling them that you've reported them; this is just spam and offers nothing. I reiterate; the reports system is there for a reason. One way or another, said report is rectified, but obviously we will do with them what we deem necessary, i.e whether we agree with where the report states the thread should be.

We can't get everywhere, and I know for a fact that some of you guys think we do lacklustre jobs. But D/P/P can be a stressful place to moderate at times and we get on with our jobs as best we can and we don't take them for granted, as we know what a responsibility it is to moderate those forums. You are completely entitled to complain about how we run things or how well we're doing if you see fit, and that applies to anybody, not just you, HM. But, in this case, Ursula was completely right to infract you.

I hope this cleared a few things up.

thats the thing you said mini modding is frowed on that all it should be frowned on something that is disliked not something you give an infraction for

erm...

...Constant SPAM (judged at discretion of staff)

Mini-modding is SPAM, and it was constant.

Now assuming the information in this thread is accurate, that said user had been given warnings before the infraction, it makes sense to me
