I think I am going to stop breeding and sell all my past pokemon games because B/W comes out in like what 48 hours?
 
That means that when people are RNGing on B/W you will be stuck in the past?

You do realize that more-than-likely you won't be able to obtain (all) past gen pokemon in B/W other than via the new pal park thing.

Uhhh hi. I'm not REALLY new here but I might as well be,
and I know that a lot of you guys in this thread RNG quite successfully,
and I was kind of wondering if any of you could help me if you use HGSS, because I've been trying for the past week and I'm absolutely HORRID at hitting my delay. :/

But if not, that's okay, I just can't really find anyone to help me and there's a limited amount of guides of HGSS, and there's not really any sort of forum for this. Bleh.

I used this guide, it's long but detailed enough:

What delay are you hitting, and what is your target (desired) delay? How are you checking your seed, roamer method or Elm call method? You will have to explain what you are doing so someone can help spot your mistake.

RNG discussion is acceptable here. Better than the other awful topics.

Uhm, yes, I've read all of smogon's guide and watched bearfan's videos and some other guy's name that escapes me at least 5 times. I have a general understanding of what is supposed to be happening.

Letseeee. To answer your questions, a lot of the time I have no idea what delay I'm hitting, because whenever I use the "Search Elm" feature on RNG Reporter it tells me that nothing matches what I put in, no matter how much I widen the range for the search. About an hour ago when I was trying to hit 489 I was getting 517, 516, 486, 523, 507, but then I stopped getting matches.
