Nature: Adamant
Ability: Vital Spirit
IV's: Tri Flawless
Egg Moves: Close Combat
Planned EV spread: 4 HP, 252 ATK, 252 SPEED
Item: Life Orb
Planned Moveset: Close Combat, Ice Punch, Earthquake, Fire Punch/Thunder Punch/Undecided.

Finally been wanting to do a Primeape Breed as the perfect counter to Breloom considering how much Breloom pisses me off whenever I battle them using the standard Spore/Focus Punch or SuperPower. Glad to get Adamant Nature though would have also settle for Jolly. Vital Spirit will prevent Primeape from going to sleep combined with the fact that Primeape outspeeds Breloom and Primeape can hit back with a hard Ice Punch or Fire Punch. Either Breloom will be forced to switch or stay in and be destroyed.

Even though it is tri flawless the good thing is that it has the perfect IV's in the most important stats mainly Attack and Speed. Also since I rarely see people use Primeape nowadays he makes a perfect surprise since I can assume that many battlers will never expect to see one in OU and so forth.

Nice breed. :) which other IV is 31? Hp or Def would be nice.

You could go outside the box a bit and go with Aerial ace, A 4x weak plus life orb or a CB will maim, if not kill a standard sub-punch Breloom i think. Or go with U-turn to scout a bit

Definitely will consider Aerial Ace and U-Turn, though I am not expecting Primeape to last that long in a battle. So defense and HP aren't a big worry for me. More than likely I want to have him as a late sweeper when most big game threats are already status induced or gone.

But why are you using something like Primeape for Breloom when Celebi can come in, lol at its moves as he resists them all (FP, Sed Bomb, Spore, Mach Punch, just to name a few) He has natural cure so if he does get spored he can just switch?

Not that it matters since celebi walls it anyway but you forgot stone edge.

I just did calcs and stone edge does 22-26% lol.

Most people don't use loom correctly so you don't see many with stone edge, mostly sub punch or some other demon child of a bad battlers mind...

A lot of noobs with Breloom are like "OMG POISON HAAL AND SUB PUNCH I SHUD UES TAHT!1!11111 WTF LOL"

Yeah, umm...

Nice wall that dies by switching in you have there, along with weaks to some of the common types of moves.

You can check your pokemon with the IV checker AR code, or go into a lvl 100 battle and enter there stats here.

Removed the post as i think i posted at wrong place.

@Syndrome: I dont have an AR so i cant check the IV with it. I always thought it was pretty abundance to keep asking a person to IV battle to check the IV because I also didnt have RNG to breed with so the value are pretty random. As time passes they were stockpiled so i guess it was my fault. Now their numbers are just too many for someone to check on them.

well my first RNG since finishing summer school
not that impressive but its alright, using it as a giveaway on another site =P

Thats sort a why we have an official IV battle thread, located here

Just finished RNG'ing my 3rd Shiny (Charmander). It is kinda hilarious that RNG is much easier than I assumed and the fact that I have gotten more shinies with RNG Abuse than all the time I spent chaining in the other games like D/P/Pt,etc. Kinda makes me wish I should have began to RNG sooner rather than failing with Chaining. I would have had quite a bit shinies by now with less risk, hassle, and time wasted chaining for a shiny then getting screwed over by Starly and Bidoofs.

Congratz with the RNG. Never tried used RNG but i know that it was kinda tough to make one success. Good luck for more shining!
