This took me about an hour and a half to get but I seem to be getting better at this.


-This is probably a dumb question but . . . Anyone know how to RNG for Hidden Power? *shot*

Nice Breed. ^^
Hidden Power is a little different to breeding. What you do is you go here to find the IVs for the Hidden Power type you want, and put those IVs into the RNG Reporter and hopefully it's a good delay time.

I can't hit the Hidden Power I'm going for, since for some reason I can't seem to hit 629 Delay. I'll just do something else.

Couldn't hit the flawless spread, so I settled with this.

I've been trying to rebreed a bunch of my pre-EV'd Pokes like Shinx/Beldum/Ralts but I haven't found the time/patience. I haven't even touched my DS in like two weeks.

I am currently breeding a hasty tar for the bait set, then is prolly something like beautifly lol.
 
i would like to start RNG'ing soon any tips for a noobie :P i know Alternative just posted an amazing guide but i would mind some extra words of wisdom from some seasoned breeders ^^

Not really much to know, except be persistent, and know the facts about your game, like your average delay, whether you hit even or odd delays, the calibration.
 
Hey, I'm looking to open up a trade store with somebody else (preferably events but it doesn't matter, I don't want some noob who has no idea how to run a shop properly either, also it'd help if you had some css knowledge , or atleast know how to make a good shop layout. Anyone up for this please PM me.
 
I just got into RNGing, downloaded the rng reporter, found out my SID, I was ready to go. I caught a pokemon and put in its stats, and it said that to get a shiny I had to tap 2000 times. I was like "WTF". How do you guys do it?
 
We get lucky and get things that only require like 500 or less taps lol. At least, that's what happens to me.
It changes each time you do it. Sometimes you won't be able to get any shinies, other times it will be way too easy.

This is true.
My first shiny I only had to double tap just over 100 times, then I realised plain shiny Pokemon are ass for competitive battling.
