Slopoke to Slowbro is pretty weird.

Slowbro looks just like Slowpoke except that it stands up and has a shellder on its tail. Same thing with Slowking, except that shelder is on its head.

Exeggcute are seeds, which then evolve into a coconut tree. Seems perfectly fine to me.

Tadpoles become frogs, I don't see how that's weird :P
If anything, Poliwhirl - Poliwrath is weird, as Poliwrath has to live the rest of it's life as a tadpole.

Anyways I find Clefairy to Clefable a weird evolution.
I mean Clefable is just a tall Clefairy with a lighter colouring and lacking rosy cheeks.

I think there are no wierd evolutions, maybe Feebas-->Milotic is a bit wierd, but most are based on something in the world.

Actually this one does in fact has a reason, the evolution path mimics that of the Antlion. It's actually kinda neat :D
