Will Ash and Pikachu stay when the fifth generation TV show will be released?

With Pokemon Black and White to be released in Japan this Fall, a new series will start, right? Well I've been hearing rumors all over the web that their going to get rid of Ash and Pikachu when the new show is going to be released! Well that would suck. So I decided to do a poll to ask all of you if you think Ash and Pikachu will be gone. Hopefully they won't.

Thats rumors which none are true. They did that for the Sinnoh as well. Ash is the main. They will not. I accidently hit yes because I miss read the question. But No I do not think they will leave

What most other people here have said, there is no way that Ash and Pikachu will be going anywhere; If they ever did they they would be taking a very big risk of the Anime losing popularity and money, Ash and Pikachu are the ones that started it all. So personally I find the chances of them being taken out of the Anime very, VERY low. So I wouldn't go worrying too much about it! ^^

They will still be in the series, just wish they weren't, the series imo need to get a bunch of new main characters and go for a more mature audience, though that is not going to happen anytime soon, sadly.

No, it will never happen. How many rumors have gone around about Pokemon since Day 1. A lot. How many have come true? None. So why believe in them now. :)

It's already too late. In my opinion, if they were going to drop Ash, they should've dropped him after Johto. Now that he's been in so long, it's far too late to get rid of him now.

I would've loved it if they switched main characters after Johto, or even Orange Islands. I like Ash, but he's done far too much if you know what I mean.

No, they wont get rid of Ash & Pikachu, they've been in it for years now, the publicity would drop hugely if it did, it's easy for a rumor to start and spread on the internet, if it hasn't been confirmed by nintendo then it's not real.

Well that would be stupid if they did get rid of Ash and Pikachu. Most of us have watched and followed his journey since the very beginning, but if they were to they better make a fantastic ending!

They don't care about older fans who are bored of Ash. And there are always new kids and for them everything is new.

I WISH that they would get rid of Ash, but he is the main protagonist so don't bet on it. It would take like a huge drop in popularity that just kept going for something like that to happen. Like they'd drop the other two characters faster than they would Ash, then wait like another x amount of years before dropping Ash if something like that ever happened..and I doubt it will.

I wonder if they will keep Dawn or Brock when Gen.5 starts. They've been in Sinnoh for a really long time and Dawn still seems like a preemie to me (and I'd miss her piplup) so she can't go. Brock can't go either because he's the only good character left! Trust me, they will more than likely drop one of these two.
