Will Ash ever get a water power-house?

    Ash has got two fire power-houses, Charizard and Infernape, and two grass, Sceptile and Torterra. Do you think he'll ever get a water power-house like Empoleon or Swapert?

    I think that he'll get the 5th gen water starter and evolve it for the Isshu League. Post what you think!

    Charizard and Infernape are fire types ;)

    It would have been awesome to have Ash get an Empoleon (a little late for that now and would seem stupid as Dawn has a Piplup) but if things had been different then I would have wished Ash got an Empoleon.

    I don't think Ash will get the water starter from Isshu just from looking at the water starters first form although wait until its evolutions are added and I might change my mind. It would be cool for Ash to have a powerhouse water type - Something big like Lapras (but stronger obviously) that he could use to travel on in water (which would make for some excellent water chase scenes) so hopefully he will :D
     
    As long as its not this regions starter im happy. I dont even care if its last evo is epic. Watching that for 30 eps plus will be digusting i'd rather him get a bidoof. or a magikarp that wont evolve

    There were a Magikarp and Feebas that wouldn't evolve in one episode....I think it was in Hoenn....it was funny to see them pwning Pikachu....

    I hope he doesn't get this Gen's water starter either.

    I just wish he'd keep Buizel and Gible and evolve them! I mean, sure, he's at least evolved Monferno and Grotle...but still....
     
    Didn't Ash have a Feraligatr? And I'm sure he had a Lapras at one point (Orange Islands, I believe, could be wrong).

    But yeah. For Isshu it would be nice to see him with a strong water type.
     
    I believe that Squirtle and Corphish could be cosidered as powerhouses to go along with Lapras. Really, Out of the five main Water-type Pokémon he had, I'd consider three of the really strong while Totodile was alright and Buizel just sucks. Kingler is pretty much in the same league as Buizel.

    I wouldn't be bothered if he got a fully evolved Water-type starter though.
     
    Yeah Ash is gonna get Mijumaru and its gonna be a powerhouse when it evolves...

    Lapras. Duh! Lapras owns. Too bad he didn't really use it much. And if he wanted to surf he could've used Snorlax. Right?
     
    Did he really? I hardly remember the good episodes of Pokemon...that's sad, right? Either way, Lapras was a powerhouse and he DID have one. He can always surf on Snorlax, though, like I said.
     
    Yeah, afetr Buizel, Lapras was his best Water type. Maybe it'll return. Doubt it though.
     
    His buizel was only good 'cause of it's speed and that Ice Punch. Other than that...lame, although I don't blame him for getting any other water types. The Sinnoh region hardly had any decent elemental pokemon.
