Will Dark Rush expanions cards come to America?

    I was wondering if they will release cards from the dark rush japanese expansions in an english expansion. I don't think it's fair that only they get Darkrai ex and so on. :(
     
    The thing is, Japan gets TCG cards first, but because English is basically the official international language of the TCG (and they go by English sets for determining a card's Worlds legality), every card does get released in English at some point. It's just a matter of The Pokemon Company International deciding on which cards printed in Japan to translate for their next set, actually translating them, and then getting enough print runs built up in anticipation of the rush of sales of the set when it debuts.

    One key thing to note is that TPCi does not handle the Japanese printings of cards. The company in charge of the Japanese releases is Media Factory.
     
    I suspect that they will release the cards from that set, but with the way that we see sets translate from Japanese to English, the cards from the set will likely be staggered throughout 2 expansions like pretty much any themed Japanese set.

    In any case, the release of Dark Patch will mark the day that the speed of the game becomes relentless in competitive play. You can pretty much expect to see a ton of decks attempting to donk you with Mewtwo's X-Ball.
     
    The English title of the dark set is confirmed as "Dark Explorers", and it does feature Darkrai ex. It's not on pokemon.com yet, but the sell sheets are in and they say the set is coming in May. Apparently it also contains tornadus ex, raikou ex, and groudon ex, and likely others as well.
     
    I'm betting english darkrai ex will be very expensive. up there with Mewtwo ex right now?
    That really blows. I love darkrai, and making it hard to get one.. come on. I'll atleast grab some dark patches online.

    I'll just have to hope I grab a darkrai ex from a booster....*sigh*

    I love Darkrai too! But as for his price, I don't think he will be that expensive, since I don't see any Dark Toolbox decks running around at the tourneys. But it might just show up due to the number of strong Dark Pokemon here. :D
