Will Shoddy take over DP Battaling?

    Shoddy is the closest to a Diamond and Pearl Sim there is. But it is increasing little by little every day. Will Wifi battling be replaced by it?

    Will it really be another Netbattle? D:

    I hope it isn't. I enjoy raising Pokemon myself. Sure it's time consuming but that's what I like about it.

    It sure would be fun for me. I enjoy the competitive battling in Pokémon, but never really got into it, because I mainly play the games on an emulator. And I don't want to spend €150 or sth on a console that I will never really play except for pokemon anyway. So I would really like a new Netbattle, because by the time I found out about it's existence the big peak was already over...

    It will never replace WiFi battling, but for the lazier players and emulators, it's great. The real breeders/trainers will always have WiFi to see who's really the best.
     
    Well the problem was I already spent money on a console and game. Might as well use it right?

    Though I'll probably try out Shoddy for kicks.

    Yeah, a whole lot of IV breeders will think the same as you. They spent a lot of time on breeding for the right pokemon and want to use it now, rather than battling with generic pokemon.

    So WiFi battling will never die, because lots of people have spent many many hours on training their competitive team.

    So pretty much a CPU program that simulates a DP battle, similar to what Netbattle did for 3rd generation.

    I don't think it will get rid of the Wifi battling. For one, i have trained my ass off for my pokemon :P

    Lol but i posted it first so THERE! Naa, i am only joking. But i do not think it will over take WIFI. For one, me and my mates won't use shoddy! No way in hell, my pokes have 31 IV's. That takes time dudes as i am sure you know! XD
     
    Well It sounds Kinda cool.But It will never feel the same as raising them cause you gadda put some effort into it but with Shoddy you just type in some numbers and away you go!
     
    eh i'm not really into downloading stuff right now, I usually get viruses =/ my old labtop got destroyed because of downloading stuff.
     
    I just tried it. It's not as cool as it sounds. How does a Linnone sweep an entire team? :(
