4th Gen Will there be more Platinum Events?

I got my Platinum about a year ago, and the only gift I got was the shiny Pichu for HG and SS.
I was wondering, will they make more events for the old Platinum or have they switched to HG and SS completely now?

There will be no more Platinum events. There is still one event item (the Azure Flute) that hasn't been distributed, but it hasn't been distributed in Japan either, where Platinum was released over two years ago. So the chances of it being released now are slim.

Mew was originally thought to be a Platinum event, as it was available for all three of DPPt in Japan, but as that has since been confirmed to be a HgSs-exclusive event, then no, there shall be no more Platinum events.
