6th Gen Will 'Z' take place at the same as BW?

If they decide to not make the traditional third version for the second time when do you think it'll take place? Some (including myself) have speculated about the possibility of a prequel instead of a sequel. If they do the prequel route may the game take place at the same time as BW? After all according to someone who works on the game XY take place at the same time as B2W2, GSC and it's remakes the same time as DPPt, and RSE and it's remakes at the same time as RGB and it's remakes. Leaving BW as the only games in the series not to have a connection with another game.

If so how do you think they'll handle past Kalos? Is two years enough time?

A prequel would be interesting; however, I'm not sure as to how they'd pull it off. For starters, they'd probably need a different evil organization--Team Flare seems like it was fairly new during the time XY took place, else Lysandre would've likely set his plan in motion earlier. That being said, if there were another evil organization or if Team Flare did do something beforehand, isn't it sort of strange that, iirc, there's no mention of any such evil activity whatsoever? Conversely, perhaps whatever took place two years ago was so bad it was covered up and no one would speak of it.

Evil organization aside, there's another contradiction--the fact that the Fairy type seems to be a recent discovery when you're on your journey. (Quote Dexio: "Fairy type is a Pokémon type that was just classified recently.") If they went back into the past, it'd likely mean no fairies, which would be odd considering they were introduced this generation, so you'd think GF would want to keep them.

Anyway, a prequel would definitely be something novel to the Pokemon world, but I can't see it happening in the form of a game related to XY.

They'll probably retcon the discover of Fairy types being recent like they did with the Steel type in Gen III. Speaking of Gen III the remakes take place before XY so they'll have to retcon it there.

Not mentioning something has been done, as the events of RSE were barely mentioned in other games, only B2W2 did, and that was only that Magma wanted more land and Aqua wanted more water...

Maybe the evil team will be called Team Cool?
