It was working normal before, but after I shut down for update and turning back on. The desktop just show nothing, but pure blackness (no taskbar, no icons) and I can't even go to settings nor control panel even try open to use task manger to create "explorer" task and still nothing. Did:

    • Start using safe mode, it shows but accessing section of Updates and Security, setting crashed
    • Strangely attempting to disconnect from settings, just ended with runtime error
    • With that, Service Execution has failed on windows task manger
    • Oddly, when I search Service Execution has failed, firefox crashed
    • Even can't use FixIT from mircosoft just makes things crashed
    • Even with many accounts, still blank screen

    Just windows update

I did shut it down while doing its thing, well I'm still afraid the update just make more trouble than I thought so I undo the critical update and the problem is gone

You might want to run the system file checker command (sfc/scannow) to make sure that there aren't any corruptions to your Windows installation. Once that's done with, try installing the update again.

Not for me, all the accounts including hidden admin are affected, but I'm glad I can use system restore to undo the update causing this and.... I just avoid shutting down or restarting now since updates are available and the problem that I had might still inside this update
