    I can't believe no one's started a thread like this... >.>

For those who don't know, Windows Live Messenger is the future MSN Messenger. It's not going to be publicly released until about half way through the year.

It currently does not support the latest version of Messenger Plus!

Click here to go on the waiting list!

So... anyone got it yet? I downloaded it about 20 minutes ago.

I just signed up. Can't wait to get it.

Been using it for a while now.
Had no problems with it so far and I like the new GUI changes. (Yay, color changing! XD)
Also the Sharing-Folder option seems neat. (Synchronizing takes some time, though! XD)
Live-Plus! is in development, and is supposed to be released when the final version of WLM comes out.
Good stuff so far for a Beta, but there's also some stuff that needs to be improved in the final version.

I considered grabbing it but couldn't be bothered... there are some nice things in it though. It kind of stuffs up some of the online/offline stuff for some of my friends.

Live Plus!? I searched it on Google and I found no results...
He means Messenger Plus! Live, it's an add-on for MSN Messenger.

And I've had it for about a week, first I got an invite from a contest, then MS invited me. 8D
I actually like it, though the gray doesn't look to well with alot of the colours... the Offline Messenging is cool though, haven't used the 'Sharing Folders' or mant of the other new features, since I haven't had the chance to. ;x

This is an add-on, right? Not Messenger 8.0?

I have "live" and 8.0 BETA, and they're pretty useful.
You can recieve messages from people even if they aren't online, and contact
    them later.

You can have "share folders", and a bunch of other stuff I haven't tried yet.

The offline messages feature is something that's been in YIM for ages. I'm surprised MSN and AIM haven't incorporated it before this. It does give rise to a lot of spim though.

    O_o This thread nearly died.

Anyway, anyone know how often the people give you invitations?
I used 4 ofmine and I still only have one left after about one month. There was some guy at another forum wh said he gets 10 everyday...
