Windows XP Defender Pro

This is so annoying. I can't remove it. I've looked on many sites, but I'm a computer fail person and don't understand them. It won't let me run any programs. I tried System Restore, but it was corrupt, so I had to delete the previous restore points and create a whole new one.

Help would be appreciated.

Oh, and if this isn't allowed or is in the wrong place, please move it.

It sounds like an MS Antivirus variant. SmitFraudFix should be able to handle it.

Try donavannj's suggestion, and make sure you followed all the steps in mine.
